    No more sliding!
So happy with this! Pricey, but so far worth it! I’ve been using it for about eight months and it’s very grippy! It definitely smelled a bit when I got it and I had to just kind of air it out, but the smell went away. Be sure to air it out before taking it to a class, though or around other people! I feel that on rare occasions it does seem to be slipping a little bit, but I think it’s if my hands are too wet. Also if I am doing a home practice and my hands are super dry it can be a little slippy. After heavy, hot yoga use and rolling it up immediately after class and not airing it out as much as I should it has started to smell a little bit but that’s probably on me for not cleaning it as much as I should.

    Ticks all the boxes
I highly recommend this yoga mat. Money well spent — truly non-slip surface with a perfect grip both top and bottom surfaces, moisture wicking material helps during intensive workouts. I enjoy its sleek and minimalistic design. The mat is heavy, but it isn’t a problem if you have a bag or a strap to hold it. The thickness is perfect for tender knees. Also, the mat holds its shape after folding. It comes in various solid colors, but I got the black version since it was on a discount.Overall, this yoga mat is a wonderful solution for those who exercise more than 2 times a week. Ticks all the boxes!

    Non slip for hot classes!
I’ve been doing hot fitness classes for over a year. 5x a wk in the hot room is tough on mats. I started with a super cheap mat with a cover…. bc the sweat. The sweat is crazy and planks can be super difficult when sliding or even down dog. I was tired of constantly doing laundry to keep my 2 mat towels clean. I then treated myself to a cork mat. It was excellent for 3ish months. It said it didn’t require cleaning, but it did. I would clean with essential oil & water.bi always unroll my mat and let them dry after class. I started slipping on the cork. So I pulled the trigger and spent all my dollar bills on this mat. Absolutely worth them dollars! Love the cushion, even tho that’s not what I was looking for. It’s def non slip. I feel like a beast using this mat. Haha. It’s not sticky or anything weird. Just solid grip so u don’t have to hold back in class. Rolls up nice, great cushion, non slip and I love the color I chose. It is heavier than my other mats, but nothing horrible. I also purchased the mat cleaner to use. If you’re contemplating the investment and do hot classes, u won’t be disappointed. I’m sure non heated classes would enjoy, but it’s def a “needed” purchase for the hot room.

    All grip, no slip!
When I started doing hot yoga a year ago, I didn’t want to spend a lot on a mat until I was sure I’d stick with it. I had a decent low-priced mat that served me fairly well for a year, but I sweat like a monster and slipperiness was a constant problem. So I did some research, and the Manduka GRP Adapt seemed to consistently get the best reviews for being “grippy.” They were right! I love this mat. All grip, no slip. Thick enough to be comfortable but thin enough that I feel solidly connected to the floor in balance poses. I got the marbled black, so the sweat doesn’t show like it did on my lighter-colored mat. Reviews mentioned that it’s heavy (and it is), so I was prepared for that, but I don’t find it causes any inconvenience. Some others mentioned odor, but I find it to be very faint. So far I’m extremely happy with this mat, and as long as it holds up for a while, I’ll consider it well worth the cost.

    Love this mat
This thing is heavy, sticky even when the room is not that warm, and squishy enough to provide some padding but does not slide all over the floor. I have always wanted one of these mats and I’m so glad I finally have one. It’s very well made and a little on the larger side which makes it nice to practice on.

    Good Enough
I wanted to give this 5 stars but it just wasn’t perfect. It’s a great advanced yoga mat with better grip and better support. I wish it was a little more grippy. It’s great but not $99 great.

Había probado varios mats antes y ninguno como esté. Excelente agarre por más que sides no es resbaloso. Se siente de muy buena calidad. El único detalle es que es muy pesado, pero eso también hace que sea muy estable.

I am an overly sweaty person (especially my hands) and this mat GRIPS during hot yoga. So excited to have finally found something! I used to use yoga towels but they can be cumbersome. The grippy surface for the floor is crazy good too.
