Must have emergency ponchos
Nice thick and durable quality emergency ponchos. a must have given that the conditions demand it. I keep extras in my car and hike bag for any scenario from weather to high visibility. large with good coverage on the body and surprisingly warm/cozy. you cant place a price on safety so the price is fitting for value.

Good emergency ponchos
This review is for the Rasupro brand 4 pack of emergency ponchos.I like these ponchos. I think they are a great addition to camping gear, car and home emergency kits. They pair well with emergency sleeping bags and blankets. The ponchos are a little small for a tall or big person, but they will keep most of you out of the wind and rain. They seem to be about the same thickness as other reputable ponchos Iâve purchased in the past.My ponchos came in a vacuum sealed pouch. I thought it was a nice touch because it makes it easy to pack four of them nice and flat.I am going to put two in my vehicleâs emergency kit and another in my spouses car.

Compact when folded . Ample when unfolded!
Not for small children! Adult sized. The fabric is thin but seems durable. Can easily be used over clothing. May resistbeing torn by high winds and tall bushes. Fits comfortably and the heat reflective material works well.

Great value for emergency preparedness (or bug-out)
Great value for emergency use or a bug-out bag. I take my family of four camping cross-country and like to keep an emergency kit in the truck in case of breakdown or some other such situation. These ponchos are a great value at the current price of $12, which is $3 a piece. These are a little heftier than the ones you might find at a local big-box store for a little less, plus they have the reflective mylar lining and the orange outside, where as the cheap ones are usually just thing see through plastic. Even when not camping, I still keep them in my truck as part of a small bug-out kit, for reasons. 😉

Kinda heavyweight
This is a bit thicker plastic than on the mylar emergency blankets I’m used to. It will tear, especially if snagged, but not as easily as those blankets. Still plenty crinkly though. Warms you up quickly, especially if you have only light clothing on (it works by reflecting heat and clothes get in the way}. Might be a bit small for larger folk. Pack along a binder clip to hold the neck closed. The 4 pack is nice, one for each car, one in the house, one with the camping gear.

Ponchos – not a hard concept to get right, and these do it right in an emergency
Rasupro 4 Pack Emergency Ponchos with Thickened Mylar Blanket LiningJim Cantore from the weather channel may not be on TV wearing one of these in a hurricane ever, but they work.If you are going camping or hiking and want to be found and have a better chance to survive, pack one of these in your backpack. EDC people may not want one on them every day, but one or two in their go-bag would be a good idea. These are nothing more than the mylar space blanket material with an orange layer for visibility. They are thin, wind proof to the point of being a sail to help blow you over when wearing one you imitate Leonardo Dicaprio’s in Titanic, but they work. They stop wind from hitting your skin directly, they keep water off you, and they have the magic space blanket properties of reflecting body heat back at you to stay warm. $3.25 each in a four pack – a small price to pay in being prepared. Just expect them to rip if you bring anything sharp or pokey next to them like a stick in the woods you just sat on.

4 Pack Emergency Ponchos with Thickened Mylar Blanket Lining
I wanted something a little more than a basic survival blanket and this is it. We adventure out to the desert and the mountains on the weekends and these went right in to our backpacks for an emergency situation if we break down or get lost in the middle of nowhere. I like that you can wear them for the rain or inside out with the silver out. Either way, easy for people to spot if anyone is looking for you. Plus it has the hood if you are stuck in the rain and need to deal with things outdoors.
