ððððð- Bee-licious Brilliance â Our Hive is Vibinâ on This Lemongrass Life!
Okay look⦠most folks use Handcraft Blends Lemongrass Essential Oil for aromatherapy or maybe to chase off a few bugs. But here at D & D Pest Control & Home Inspection Services in Eastern North Carolina? We found a top-secret, black-ops-level sugar water recipe on the internet, and now weâre using this lemongrass oil to feed our honey bees like gourmet chefs.
And guess what? Our bees LOVE it. Weâre talkinâ full-on bee raves happening at the hive. You drop just a whiff of this lemongrass into their feeder and suddenly theyâre dancing the waggle dance like they just won the Bee-lottery. ðð
It smells fresh, sweet, citrusyâlike a yoga class met a summer garden and had a bottle baby. The quality is top-notch, no weird residue, and the bees respond to it like it’s the nectar version of Beyoncé dropping a new album.
We keep a few hives near the office, both for pollination and just because, well⦠we like bees. They keep things buzzing (literally and spiritually). And this lemongrass oil? Itâs now a permanent part of the D & D Hive Life Ritualâ¢.
Funny Joke Break:
Whatâs a beeâs favorite essential oil?
âLemon-grasssssssâ â because itâs the only one they buzz about nonstop! ð
In all seriousness, if youâre into beekeeping or even just experimenting with feeder attraction recipes, this oil is the golden ticket. Itâs potent, pure, and downright bee-licious. At D & D, weâve blended pest control, home inspections, and bee-whispering into one sweet operationâand this lemongrass oil is a hive essential.
âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸ â Because our bees voted, and they gave it two wings up!

Strong scented citronella oil, many ways you can use it.
Smells like citronella. I use with diffusers outdoors. The range doesnât go far outdoors so it effectiveness against mosquitos in that application is not the best. I also have candles and incense burning repellents. I donât mind the scent but can be really strong in enclosed spaces. I sit right next to the diffuser but wouldnât trust it alone to chase off hunger blood suckers. They like me more than the other people I am around, not a good thing. I will be harassed by mosquitos and they leave the other people alone. Iâm the sacrifice at this point. If I am there they wonât be bothered. So this oil helps in conjunction with other products. As of last season the burner kind of repellent was my favorite but I still have this oil out too. It doesnât start fires by nature like the incense potentially can, itâs a diffused scent so itâs always just lingering about. The diffuser does not blow out with a strong wind like candles do. A lot of options you can use this in. Up to you really. I will continue to use it. No one thing has completely stopped bites for me so I just try a little of everything. If you are creative you could make citronella soaps. Possibility is there.

Fresh, Clean, and So Refreshing â Love This in My Diffuser! ðð¿
Iâve been using this lemongrass essential oil in my diffuser and it smells amazing! It fills the room with a super fresh, clean scent thatâs both uplifting and calming at the same time. I love using it in the mornings to help me wake up or when I just want my space to feel more energized and bright.
The quality is greatâit’s 100% pure and you can definitely tell by how strong and clean the scent is. A few drops go a long way, and the 4 oz bottle is huge compared to most essential oils, so itâs an awesome value for the price. Definitely one of my go-to oils now!

Clove oil.
This oil is really good, I use it in my hair, and there is no strong smell. You can use it in multiple functions. I don’t regret to purchase it. I recommend buying it.

Great scent
I’m not using this as something to put in anywhere to make the air smell purified or anything like that nothing along those lines I like to use Drops of oils in certain little spots to keep bugs away but also have like a nice crisp citrusy smell so I like it for that reason

Smells wonderful
Iâm still giving this a 5 it was my fault I didnât read the back it clearly says dilute with a carrier oil. Unfortunately I did not and put this directly on my scalp. Plus note the whole house smells like lemon as I was running around trying to find relief.

Does have a strong smell but soo worth buying for us!
My husband uses tea tree oil for his feet. He is in his feet all day everyday for work and ever since using this his feet donât smell or sweat as much compared too any foot powder he has used before. This is a natural way to get rid of that nasty foot smell. TWO DROPS OF THESE IN YOUR SHOES ALSO HELPS WITH SMELL!

I have tried many oils and this brand is by far the best.
A little pricey but worth it.
Itâs a fresh scent that lasts for days.

I purchase this brand of tea tree oil for the scent alone (another, more expensive brand for medical purposes). Although Handcraft Blends is 100% pure as promised, it is – in my own laymanâs terms for the sake of simplicity – not as âconcentratedâ as, say, the Thursday Plantation, Now or Melaleuca brands.
Another thing that I see reviewers complain about with any brand of tea tree oil, is the âoffâ or âbadâ smell upon opening. This doesnât necessarily mean the product is bad but sometimes upon opening, a âbadâ odour may be present, but once the bottle contents have hit the air or âdecantedâ for a couple of days the scent will settle into its real self.
Anyway this Handcraft Blends brand of tea tree oil for the scent: Tea tree oil is one of my all time favourites, and find it to be both calming and refreshing at once. A lot of people dislike the aroma so I donât scent myself or my home etc. with it, but rather apply to a material that I can store in a baggie and take out to inhale the air around it when I feel like it. It adheres best and lasts longest on fuzzy/fluffy fabrics and knits so I use it on scraps of old sweaters.
A couple of other things I scent up with it, is my DIY body wash (distilled water, Dr Bronners Castile soap, tea tree oil and a bit of glycerin)â¦. and one of the puffs to my DIY body powder (corn starch, baking soda and kaolin clay). I sprinkle an ample amount tea tree all over the puff while itâs wet after washing, leave to evaporate for a few days, then store in a tin of powder. The scent permeates the powder only a very slight amount and fades quickly, while the puff remains heavily scented. That way I get the great scent while applying and for a few minutes afterward, but it fades away after a few minutes so other people donât have to smell it.

Mixed with some water, this stuff is still incredibly strong.
I sprayed it around the door and window areas and at first the ladybirds were still hanging around and I thought the advice was incorrect, but a day later they all vanished!
Excellent product.
