This is the mat to get!
Have used other workout mats and Gxmmat is the mat to get. The price is right and the product rocks. I use this everyday for my workouts. I go back and forth between weightlifting and yoga and this mat is great for both. I love the size, use it in my spare bedroom and can fold it up when not in use. I usually just leave it out. Gxmmat suggests using warm water and a little dawn dish soap to clean after use which works perfectly. There is no smell to to the mat and is super comfortable but stable at the same time. Comes with a carrying case and gloves. There is a break in period as it is a little slippery (just a little) if you are doing yoga moves like downward dog. After a few uses and cleans it gets better. If you are looking for a workout mat I highly recommend this mat. Great brand and quality product.

Really Great, not super squishy so it’s firm but non slip…
I spent what seemed like literally forever trying to find the perfect mat, and I think that I finally found it. I got a Concept 2 rower, and knew I needed a mat, but I also wanted to lift weights and do other exercises, and I have new hardwood floors in my bedroom so I knew that I needed to protect the floors from myself as well as the rower. When you really account for size, as well as cost there are really only two options GXMMAT or Gorilla Mats Extra Large Exercise mats (don’t put large/heavy equipment on a yoga mat) I decided to go with GXMMAT because of the reviews that were largely positive, and the lack of sponsored content on YouTube. When a product is good, you don’t need to market it heavily, and this is a good product. Mine was sticky on the top part when I first unrolled it, and it’s supposed to be but if you’re not feeling it. Get a wet rag wipe it down and then immediately dry it, and it will go away, or it will go away on its own. I got the 10 x 6 and it fits the rower perfectly and gives me enough room on the side to do burpees, even lunges and that’s saying something because I’m 6ft 4in tall.

I recently built a home gym and decided to add the GXMMAT Extra Large Exercise Mat to the space, and I am so glad that I did! These mats are an awesome addition to any home gym, and they have quickly become one of my favorite pieces of equipment.
Not only are these mats extra large, which means that they provide plenty of space for me to move around and do my exercises, but they are also incredibly durable and easy to clean. I can sweat all over them during my workouts and then simply wipe them down with a damp cloth when I’m done. Plus, they don’t have that nasty rubber smell that some other exercise mats have, which is a huge plus.
But perhaps the best thing about these mats is how they enhance the overall look and feel of my home gym. They give the space a professional and polished look, and they make me feel like I’m working out in a real gym rather than just a spare room in my house.

Mixed feelings but overall Satisfied
When I was purchasing an exercise mat, this brand stood out to me with their facebook support and amazing reviews. I debated between this matt and the same size yoga mat. According to their customer service, this matt is for more cardio activities. As I have not touch their yoga mat, I don’t know how it compares. HOWEVER, I can compare this exercise cardio mat to my heavy duty yoga mat. Side-by-side, they are made of the same materials, and feel the same. Thickness was a bit more, but overall, I don’t know if this truly will last longer than the yoga version.
It’s definitely comfortable though. I can easily do yoga, stretches, and tai chi on the mat without any issue. In fact, it’s quite cooling. The issue I have is that it’s really SLIPPERY. Just using it before wiping it, the mat was so slippery. But even after a light wipe and wash, the mat still is quite slippery after sweaty activities. I do cardio and dance, while my cousin performs intense zumba on this mat, and we both noticed that sweat just builds up. After an hour, I felt like I needed to wipe the mat in case I slip.
The mat also comes with a carrying bag and straps to keep it together. Love this solution. But the straps seemed to have left a deep indentation on my matt. Hopefully (as its only been 4 days), these marks disappear in a weeks time.

Very good product
Smell dissipated after few days. Itâs not slippery when I vigorously work out barefoot. It seems to be very sturdy. My 8âx6â mat I roll into 7â dia x 6â high and keep vertical without any problems. Iâm happy with the purchase.

Excellent Quality – Highly Reccomend
Good quality packaging, it unrolled easily and only one side needed some weight to flatten out (was nice and flat after a couple of hours!). No weird smells, the thickness is perfect and it is easy to clean. Its firm but not hard, still plan to use a yoga mat when I need extra cushion. Two sided, I chose the smooth side as the top so I didn’t get circle marks on my legs when doing floor exercises. Great quality for the price.

Perfect for me
I was on the hunt for a mat that would hold up to dumbbells and benches and every day workout wear and tear, that could be rolled up out of the way when done. Look no further, unless you want a bigger size. This works well and holds up to my workouts along with my cats and dog lounging on it while I workout. I liked that I could roll it up out of the way so the animals would not constantly be running all over it and peeing on it or anything
