Was here when I got up and made my first juice immediately. Very easy to use and clean! Had juicers before that were a struggle to get parts off, or had a tiny space for the discards. This has a huge container and opening for the discards, easy to open, no clogs. Juice flowed free and clear, frothy and delicious. No cup included but I have plenty of cups, one of which worked perfectly. Also huge intake area, didnât have to cut my veggies small at all, can fit whole orange or apple. Love it!

Amazing Little Big Mouth!
I made an order online on November 20th, 2015, Friday. It came on November 24th, 2015 Tuesday. Crazy fast, and it was regular shipping to Sacramento, California.
I just bought an Omega 2006 juicer at the local Fry’s Electronic here on Sunday for over $300 (including tax). It was slow, heavy, and big. I juiced it once, and it did a good job. Today, I used the Hamilton Beach Big Mouth. It is FAST, light, and small. I am going to return the Omega 2006 and keep this little Big Mouth Hamilton juicer. I love it. Within SECONDS, I had a cup of cucumber liquid (one whole cucumber). How many cucumbers are you really going to put into this machine? And how many cups can you really drink or need to drink? ONE is the answer. ONE is enough. Then I put in 4 full size carrots and got OVER a cup of pure carrot liquid juice! How amazing is that? And it was ALL UNDER 15 seconds!
Let’s look at this realistically, folks. I’m a very healthy and fit early-middle aged, 95% raw vegan (I use salad dressings, grapefruit drinks,etc. here and there). You really only need to drink about 1/2 to a full cup of any sort of veggie, such as carrots or cucumbers every OTHER day. This machine is NOT for soft fruits. Why juice an orange or berry when you can EAT them? That’s a no-brainer. I have a $500 Vitamix 200 series for fruits blending. The Big Mouth Hamilton is ONLY used for hard fruits. I would not put any lefty green in it. I put spinach and a little bit of broccoli (you honestly don’t need kale or any other leafy green if you’re blending every day or other day).
Now about the Big Mouth Hamilton itself. If you order the ugly color (white/green), it’s only $46.99. That’s a huge bargin! The motor is cheap. Everything about it is plastic, except the mesh or strainer (stainless steel), which cuts the veggie into liquid form. I can make this machine last for 10 years! How? Juice only 1-3 cup of whatever per day, every other day. Only turn the machine on long enough to juice whatever you have prepared in advance. So this means that the machine is only used LESS than 20 seconds per day! If you time that 2-4 days a week, it’s still less than 5 minutes. Now you get the idea. Why on earth would you leave the machine on longer than you have too? The machine is loud, like a Vitamix blender. The Big Mouth Hamilton WILL craw across your kitchen table. Haha. It scared the be-jesus out of me! The machine will spit a few veggie out of the chute or where you put the food in! Haha. It takes less than 5 minutes to clean. Eventually the mesh or strainer will wear out within 1-2 years. That’s the only thing I see wearing out from natural use. You can preserve that for 3-5 years if you cut your veggie in long, thin pieces. Being this is a cheap product that produces amazing results, you really don’t have to take care of it, such as washing it with soap or drying it with a towel. I only use hot water rinse and air dry immediately after each usage.
The best part about this product is that if it broke, I would re-order it immediately again tomorrow. Remember, it’s only $46.99 plus tax. I went to Grocery Outlet and bought a HUGE full sized carrot bag for $1.99! That would probably produce 5-7 cups of carrots! How cheap is that?! Haha. And cucumbers, 2 for $1.00! 1 cucumber equal about 1 cup of juice! So that’s .50 for a cup of cucumber juice! Amazing!

Does the job
The product works, but the videos indicating what you get are not accurate. No Juice container included, as shown in video. We had a problem finding a glass tall enough but not too tall such that the juice does not leak from the nozzle. The nozzle is short, if it was a half inch longer it would be fine. Also, it does not include the cleaning brush as shown in the video
We generally process the discharge a second time to get any remaining juice out of the waste. When doing so it put a lot of pulp into the juice.
I’m comparing this unit to my previous unit a Breville 800JEXL which is priced around $300. This unit priced at $60 is a reasonable compromise of price versus performance

This was supposed to be 220. It is only 110. Because of the holidays we opened it after 3 weeks and now we are stuck with a juicer that we and no one in this are of the world can use.

I had this juicer for more than 3 years. Guess what! I used it countless times to squeeze Apple juice from
Apple bulks that I usually buy from a local farm. To say that I squeezed 500-600 pounds of apples is understatement. I squeezed Empire, Gala, Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Macintosh, Honey Crispâ¦etc. Hundreds and hundreds of pounds, so I can claim I have enough experience with it. Here is what you need to know:
1- Does it work? Yes it does. It served us well over 3 years, and still working. The motor is powerful. I usually do 80-100 pounds of Apple at once, and this produces at least 8-12 litres of Apple juice, depending on the apple type; Empire and Honey Crisp tends to produce more juice than the other types.
2- Is it noisy? It definitely is super noisy. If noise is a concern, you should look elsewhere.
3- Will it work for small patches? Of course it does, you will get a 500-600 ML of juice after squeezing 4-5 apples, again this depends on the type and size of your apples.
4- How easy is it to clean? It is relatively easy. You undo two handles, remove the top 3 pieces, and done. Wash them and you are back to business.
5- How pure is the juice vs. The foam or pomace? Here is the key thing! While this machine is super powerful and it produces good yield of apple juice, I found out that after 15-18 apples, I must disassemble it and clean it; mainly the shredder or shredding piece, it has very very tiny holes, so using force water and brush, I need to clean it every 15-18 apples or so, this greatly minimizes the foam/pomace and increases the pure juice. This is the critical aspect of this machine. If the company could do a better design, it means more juice, and less cleaning.
Does it bother me or slow me down? Not at all, for $89,99, this is fantastic machine, compared to nearly $499 ones.
6- How flimsy is it? Well, the motor seems solid, but the handles that attach the top lid to the base are fragile. I handle them with care. They have not broken yet, but I expect them to break any moment now. Yet, for $89.99 it is reasonable.
7- Does it have a jug for the produced juice? No. This is another thing that bothers me. You have to place a cup, then keep emptying that cup into a container or so. I see this machine super powerful for small cups. I mean, itâs designed to produce lots and lots of juice, so you would expect it to come with a 1 or 1.5 litre jug, but it does not. For people who squeezes 3-4 apples for one time cup, it is not an issue. But if you intend to produce litres of apple juice, for baking, cooking or partying, then, the machine needs a larger jug.
Hope this review helps. Will I buy it again after this one breaks? Definitely yes!
