Thrilled to get this!
I purchased the orange rack – 1) because orange is my favorite color, and 2) because it was also the cheapest. I’ve have needed some heavier weights for a while, and I really wanted some hex weights. Getting the full set with a rack that allows you to store them efficiently is a plus. Weights (and gym equipment in general) have been so expensive since the pandemic. I was thrilled to get this full set for what I consider a bargain price (probably about 50% of the cost of similar sets) with free shipping. the set came in 4 boxes over two days – I sure felt bad for the delivery guy! The weights are packaged so that 3 of the boxes each holds 50 lbs (2 X 25, 2 X 20 + 2 X 5, and 2 X 15 + 2 X 10). The 4th box contained the rack parts with instructions and tools to put it together. I had it assembled in about 20 minutes, and it’s perfectly sturdy to hold all these weights. The weights felt slightly oily out of the box and had a faint odor (chemical? plastic? metal?), but the odor is quickly dissipating. They are perfect hex weights – well balanced and grippy without being too rough on your palms. I did not check the weights themselves to make sure they are exactly correct on poundage – they seem close enough, and that’s all I need. I’ve already used everything but the 5’s – and I’ll get around to them eventually too.

Idk why but the weights with colored rack is like $20-$30 cheaper than black rack so of course I jumped on the cheaper version. Everything from CAP is top tier so going cheaper isn’t a bad thing here. First the Dumbbells: Great weight, weighted just as described (going off of memory from gym times) and plentiful. Only thing I didn’t like was the out of factory oil that was on them but a towel and a few disinfectant wipes and they’re right as rain. They did also come with the new factory smell but that didn’t bother me personally. I knew once out of package the smell starts to dissipate.The Rack: As I said, the colored racks are cheaper than standard black (idk why) so choose whichever color you’d like. I went with red. A bit annoying to put together because extra tools are required but once put together its great. Lightweight yet strong. Comes with rubber guards to protect your hands from getting nicked when taking weights on and off of the rack. For the amount of weight and the rack you get for the price, its perfect for any home gym. Gyms are starting to get expensive and crowded so you’re better off making a home gym. This’ll be a great addition to it. No need to spend an arm and a leg for a set of dumbbells. CAP got you covered. For the price of the Dumbbells and Rack, its about an entire month or even 2 months worth of your gym membership and you get to keep the weights so think about it.

The dumbbells themselves are sturdy, well-made, and coated to protect against wear and tear, ensuring theyâll last a long time.Putting the set together was a breeze. It took me no time at all to assemble everything. The rack is easy to use and holds the dumbbells securely, but I do want to mention that the rack feels narrow as some reviewers note, that being said, it doesn’t bother me too much â if I really found it to be an issue, Iâd simply choose not to use the rack. Significant value
Went ahead with these weights after reading the reviews. They are about the best value I found and it will be a while before a 25lb dumbbell is no enough for me.As others have mentioned, the off gassing smell is really bad. It bothered me more than I anticipated. I thought it would just be a kind of plastic smell, but it was more like burnt rubber. After unpacking them and assembly, I moved them to my enclosed front porch where the sun would hit them for a while in the morning and they would be shut off from the rest of the house. It took about 5-7 days for the smell to dissipate. Up close they are still a little stinky, but bearable.The initial smell and the lightweight rack are really the only reasons for dinging a star. You do have to be careful putting the weights back so that you don’t pinch your hand. Unless I just started dropping these on concrete floors, I don’t see any reason for them to holdup for several years. Maybe I’d consider putting grip tape on them just to avoid the cold metal handles.

Really nice set and worth the price
I am surprised at how nice the rack and weights are. I didnât expect them to be this nice and how easy the rack was to assemble. The metal seems sturdy and no flows on the rack. The only complaint I would have is one of the boxes which contained the 20lb set and 5lb set of weights was really dirty but a damp paper towel cleaned it right up. It looks nice in my home gym and I expect to get many years of use out of this set. I would definitely recommend this set to anyone who wants to stay in shape.

Je suis très satisfait de mes haltères reçu avant le temps. Une fois bien nettoyé avec une brosse et savons à vaisselle, les résidus sont tous partie. pour lâodeur qui est normal du au caoutchouc qui dégage cette senteur, bien, je les ai laissé 1 semaine dans mon garage avant de les rentré pour les nettoyé. il y a toujours une légère senteur qui continura a dâestompé avec le temps. Je recommande.
