I love that they’re organic, but the filling layer is little thin.
I’m a fan of Nature Path products and thrilled to discover they make organic breakfast pastries! I have ordered two boxes of this product and only suggestion is the filling layer be 50% to 100 % more filling. It’s really thin and the taste is mostly the dough part. A tad more frosting on top would be nice, too. I’d happily pay more for the product to be 100% comparable to the regular brand sold at the store.

Poor taste, odd odor while toasting.
Maybe I’m overly used to the taste of unfrosted PopTarts which I buy occaisonally. I thought I’d try this organic alternative but never again. I don’t think the product went bad or anything, just not a good tasting product IMO.

Pro: taste; the taste is delicious; it’s not explosive like something artificial, but it’s not lacking either. It does taste good, but that is about all I can sayCons: filling. This is the least important because it’s approximately the amount as the standard pop tart, but I hoped it would have at least moreCons: DRY! I don’t know how to explain it. It’s not dry as you’re eating it, but when you swallow, it’s like the crumbs stay stuck in your throatCons: Too much added sugar. I understand you can only go organic to a certain point until you need to match The flavor you’re trying to get but 30g of sugar in 2 pop tarts, you can’t call it healthy, but a less trashy alternative

The healthier “Poptart”
Every once in awhile, I crave a “PopTart” but refuse to buy them with all the horrible ingredients they put in them. These toaster pastries are the perfect choice. I love the Natures Path Organic line of foods and these toaster pastries allow me and my family to indulge in a guilty pleasure food without feeling completely horrible about it. I’m aware that it’s by no means a healthy food but at least it’s made with real ingredients. While the price can be quite high sometimes, I try to grab them whenever they’re on sale. They come in a variety of different flavors, too. I would definitely recommend these toaster pastries if you’ve got that craving or want to swap out your kid’s treat with something real.
