Customers say
Customers find the knee brace provides good support and comfort, being loose enough for daily use while offering support without being too stiff. The brace is easy to put on and adjust, works well, and customers consider it worth the money. Regarding stability and fit, while some say it maintains the knee well and fits properly, others report it starts to slip down and is too big. Durability receives mixed feedback, with some saying it’s well-made while others report it wears out with heavy use.

Impressive Results (from a doubtful old man)
I am not one who would think a brace actually fixes anything. Too many years in the Military and too many years of old age, to think it could help…well, I was wrong. This brace (my wife bought it and made me wear it) actually relieved some sharp knee pain I was experiencing it. Now, I put it on for a few hours, at the first hint of pain and it goes away. Pretty impressed.

Works great – designed well
This knee support is exactly what I was looking for. It offers good support while stabilizing the patella. I have had similar braces where the materials bunched up at the back of the knee. This support is designed without materials directly behind the knee so there is no bunching of material which makes it much more comfortable to wear.

Seems to work well
I wear braces on both knees. Bone on bone, arthritis and torn meniscus. The Mueller brace is comfortable to wear for a couple days then I start having some knee discomfort. Not sure if Iâm wearing them too tight. The âVelcroâ fasteners hold well but if I wear them too loose they slide down my leg. My Dr. Brace knee braces work very well but the fasteners seem to lose their ability to hold after a couple of months. The Mueller braces have half a âdonutâ supporting under the knee where the Dr. Brace has a full âdonutâ going around the knee. Iâm relatively happy with both knee braces except for the problems I mentioned. If the Mueller brace added some non slip material to the underside of the brace it would solve the need for pulling them so tight to keep them from slipping. If the Dr. Brace group improved their âVelcroâ material they would be great.

Quality Brace, Just Right!
Twisted my knee for the first time in life, and this was a rescue device that worked. Follow the measurement advice and you won’t have a problem. Sadly, not all braces are alike. I own several of this brand’s braces and can absolutely recommend their quality.

New design is terrible
Because of severe arthritis I wore these on both knees for every waking hour for the last several years. I have purchased many, many pairs. But the most recent two I just purchased have a new design which makes them much more difficult to attach snugly as well as being less comfortable. They now attach at the back of your leg rather than the front or side. My days of buying this brand is over and I have moved onto another brand which I donât like as well as the original version, but I do like better than this new design. Not sure why they made this change, it doesnât seem like it would be a big cost savings for them. It almost seems like they sewed the male Velcro onto the shorter straps instead of the longer straps as they have always done previously, and perhaps this was a mistake or accidental. Too bad. Bye, bye Mueller. It was a good few years, but you had to go and mess up a good thing. Maybe Iâll check back in a while to see if theyâve corrected their mistake.

Decent Enough Brace
Supports my arthritic knee pretty well. Iâm wearing it for daily wear, not jogging/running or other sports. Walking and daily activity.Comfortable enough, with no pinching or gouging, to wear all day. I sleep in it as well when I need some nighttime relief. Replaced an older Ace open back brace, and this is as good or better. Prevents the soreness, stiffness and swelling I get when active and not wearing a brace.I much prefer the open/wrap around style. The pull on/over style is just not as convenient for me as the wrap around. I also believe the wrap around braces are more comfortable. The brace can also be put on or taken off without removing shoes. Thatâs a big deal if you want, or need, to remove the brace during the day, or forget to put it on before putting your shoes on.Iâve only had it a month or so, so I canât speak to how durable the brace is, or isnât. .Itâs a $15 brace, itâs not a miracle device. If you needed a knee replacement 5 years ago and still havenât had it done, itâs probably not going to help you all that much. For an old damaged, 4 times operated on knee that is going to need to be replaced in a few years, it is helping delay that replacement.Good support. Comfortable. Convenient.Having crappy knees and being old simultaneously, isnât for the weak. This brace makes life easier and less painful.Update – this brace is still working and performing as desired. Sad to note the design change. Seems like a bad decision. Maybe they’ll change it back.

You blew it!
The knee brace shown in the pictures here is NOT the one being sold now. That’s the old design, which I used for the better part of twenty years, and which worked spectacularly well and was heartily approved of by both my doctor and my physical therapists. The new one is terrible. They reversed the orientation of the straps, and wrecked the design. On the old ones, the Velcro closure was on the long straps, allowing you to wrap it around the outside of the brace until you reached the desired tension. It was easy to put on by yourself in just a minute or two, extremely comfortable, and provided the perfect amount of support. On the new ones, the Velcro closure is on the SHORT strap. This causes several major problems: It means that the long adjusting straps must be wrapped UNDER the rest of the brace to provide any tension. This guarantees that the long straps will either slide down or up, resulting in them tangling at the back of your knee – which can be painful – or dangling down your leg, which is uncomfortable and unsightly. Finally, it makes it virtually impossible to put on by yourself, because the Velcro closes on the back of your leg no matter what…if you want this to fit properly, you’re going to be asking for help, and wrestling with it for a while. The new version of this knee brace IS A TERRIBLE DESIGN. Roll it back, Mueller! Until you do, you’ve lost a long-time customer.

However, sweat may cause a slight displacement over the knee because of the continuous movements.

A good support for knee

Velcro wore out had to sew it together, the product would be more useful if the straps were on the front, on the back makes it difficult to put on.
