I take this before going to the gym. Since it has green tea extract, it gives me a natural little boost and I get my daily essential nutrients. At first, I thought it was a little sweet, but I just added more water and it tastes pretty great.

having recently been diagnosed with Diabetes II and having high liver enzymes I decided to do some liver detox and this was recommended.First, I’ve seen a ton of reviews for different products talking about how good they taste…written by people that are trying to convince themselves that veggie burgers are as tasty as a good Black Angus burger. I’m not that guy. I like black angus burgers…. I miss my hamburgers…. Anyway, I digress. This stuff actually tastes pretty good. I probably won’t be having midnight cravings for it, but I also don’t feel like I have to gag it down either.After my first few days of drinking it, my blood sugars are dropping, I have my energy and I’m noticing bits of liver chaff in the toilet. All good things..Will definitely keep this going.

Yucky Taste!
I don’t know how anyone can say this is a delicious tasting product. I am trying to get it down, but I have to say it certainly ruins the taste of my smoothie. I am hoping that it benefits me in some way, because it is really hard to take! I think the best way is to mix it with as little (6 oz) of liquid as possible, and just get it down quick. That’s what I will do tomorrow. I am giving it two stars for the flavor. I don’t know yet if it will be worth the taste.Update: I was contacted by Peak Performance offering me a refund, exchange, or apology gift. I find their desire to please their customers to be pretty impressive. I don’t know yet if their is any definite benefit to me, as today will only be the fifth dose. I will update again when I know more. If I do find a benefit, then I will just have to take my medicine one way or another.Second Update: While I still am not sure if there is any real benefit to me, I am ordering a second container. I have found that if I put 1 tsp of Apple Cider Vinegar in 6 oz of water, add the green food, take a big breath and drink it down as quick as I can, and immediately follow it with a Parmesan cheese crisp to mask the taste, I can do this! I then follow that with 2 more crisps just to make sure. With this method, I do not belch it back up, which was happening before. Tasting it once was bad enough! This also helps me get the Apple Cider Vinegar down much easier.As to the benefit, I have found that it is having a temporary (one day) alkalizing effect, which is very good. That’s why I am giving it another month. Moving it up another star.

ITS NOT GRITTY
I’m pleasantly surprised. I read all the reviews, and most ppl did not like the sweetened version… so I ordered the unsweetened.When I opened it, it smelled a lot like matcha! No surprise… 2nd thing i noticed when mixing with a very small amount of ice cold water… cold water is usually the WORST for powders… but! IT DID NOT CLUMP AT ALL and it was NOT GRITTY AT ALL.For the price of AG1… I was expecting the texture to be the difference of this one. But no! I have never tried AG1, but I can say this has to be the better buy for the price… literally less than half the cost.This is my first day consuming it, and if I have any noticeable changes I will update this review to let you know if it helps me be more regular and have more energy…But for now all I can say is it’s easy to mix, get down, and hide inside just about any beverage. After I tried it straight just to taste test it, I mixed it with a bit of kombucha and down the hatch!I’ve been struggling to get enough veggies, and since I’m running every day now (first time in my life, lifting weights and running on a machine at 42) for the past year… and with all the stress I’m putting my muscles thru, I’m also struggling to get enough protein. So it’s really difficult to afford both, and not get sick of what I’m eating, which generally makes me waste food and eat out. My hope is this drink will allow me to focus my time and money on getting enough protein… and stop wasting food. And money!
