Immediate Relief, Great Product!
This is a very well-made back brace—it helped my back immediately! As soon as I put it on, my back stopped hurting and I could walk and move around again normally. It gave the support needed for my back muscles to begin repairing themselves. There are two broad and overlapping elastic bands connected by a “spine” strip in the back. The elastic bands are loose in order to attach as needed to a Velcro underlayment that fits around your body with convenient pull bars to help secure them tightly. The inside is lined with comfortable, breathable mesh. And it has a stylish purple trim. This is a great product that I definitely recommend!

My back issues are mainly backache or muscle spasms, no severe problems identified medically At times these aches can still be very painful and I try to protect against whatever triggers them by wearing a support brace frequently for various activities.The Comforce brace is a common design. You fasten a main belt around your waist and then pull two side belts to adjust the tightness. Having used the Comforce brace for a few days I can say it is comfortable, even when sitting. It does not shift in place, roll down at the edges, or cut into my back. This may be because the metal support rods are on each side of my spine and I don’t really notice them. The material is lightweight and I do like the material in the main part of the belt that actually goes against my body. The brace is light enough to wear under loose, casual clothing.That said, I offer a few observations based on having used several different braces.First, regarding sizing, if your waist is 42” or more, reconsider this belt. It is 45” long and you need at least 3” to overlap the velcro closing at the front.Second, the support rods are not “flexible”. They are metal, they don’t bend, and they don’t move. They are encased in material that is flexible and where those rods end up against your body depends on the size of your waist. You can’t adjust them other than how much you tighten (pull forward) the supportive side belts. I have a brace that allows specific adjustment of the secondary straps at my back in addition to the compression achieved via the side panels. Just different, depending on your needs.Third, I’m not a fan of the material used for the secondary straps. It stretches easily but it is also more likely to stretch out out of shape more quickly over time. This is a good place to note that any belt used frequently will not last forever.Finally, I offer a suggestion for wearing this brace. Before putting it on, place the connector for the secondary strap right on the edge of the velcro on both sides. This will hold the connector out of the way while you fasten the main belt around your waist. Then you can just reach back for the handles and tighten up the straps. Otherwise, if you leave the straps dangling, the connectors can get tangled up in the strap material and it’s hard to get them apart. (Hope the photo helps.)If you like the design, there’s no reason not to try this brace. I’ve had better but, also, much worse. Realistically, you may have to try a few to get what you need. But you may also just get lucky if this is your first brace.
