I’ve never used a water flosser before and wasn’t sure what to expect. My first run with this product proved to be a surprisingly good experience! I like that it holds more than enough water to clean several times, that the container doesn’t require much effort to open, yet it remains securely sealed. There are several interchangeable heads that serve different functions and they are also easy to switch out. There are four different modes for cleaning your teeth. I like the clean and pulse modes because I can adjust the water intensity as high as I like and get a really good clean, and the pulse mode gives a more gentler and relaxing feel. Eleven different intensities is really great because it allows you to adjust how much water pressure you would like and this can vary from day to day and depends on whether or not you mouth or teeth may be a little more sensitive than other days. I was taken back by how powerful this device is. It’s not incredibly bulky and is light enough to take with you in a luggage. It holds a really great charge for quite some time and charges decently fast. I give this product as an A! Would definitely buy again ð

Very effective, but won’t be able to replace batteries
My portable WaterPik eventually got very week in cleaning, and I needed a new unit. This one has a better design: simpler, comfortable, and easier to clean.I was surprised by the force of the default pressure used in cleaning; it pitted my tongue when I mis-directed the tip. The “gentle” setting was a bit too weak, but I found I could program something in-between by setting the “custom” setting to 6 (out of 8?). It’s tricky to do the programming: you have to hold the upper button (power) for 5 seconds, then release it, turn it off again, then click the lower button until it shows “custom”, then hold the lower button for 2 (or 3?) seconds and release it to increase the power by 1 notch. If you hold the lower button for too short or too long, it changes modes, then you have to get it back to custom mode and try again. However, once you have it set, you won’t need to do that again.The batteries in my new unit hold sufficient charge for a lot of cleanings. I charged it immediately after I opened the box, and I’m now in my 3rd week of usage on that single charge.The upper half, which contains the batteries, is completely sealed, so there will be no way to install new batteries later. My old (WaterPik) unit could be taken apart, and I was able to remove and solder in new Li ion batteries, which kept it working longer. When the Waterflosser dies, getting the old batteries out for recyling will involve breaking the case for the upper half to do so.

Easy to use & clean
I love that the tank disconnects from the top, makes it easy to fill and clean. The water pressure is great, price is good and it’s made a real difference in my gum health. I use one main setting but every so often I use of of the other settings, I find the option to the various settings convenient.

Powerful flosser with a regrettably brief life
I initially liked this flosser so much that I bought a second for travel. Unfortunately, it hasn’t even been six months and the flosser will no longer hold a charge. Very disappointing, and even though it’s not expensive, I have to ask myself if I want to invest more money in an item that’s going to be sitting in the landfill within a few months.
