I sit next to this outside every night and it def works!
I sit outside on my balcony almost every night for at least a hour, and I light this candle the moment I walk outside. My apartment complex is next to a swampy area, so there are definitely mosquitosâ I had learned this the hard way prior to purchasing the candle. For reference, I am a mosquito magnetâ every time Iâm outdoors with a group of friends I tend to get 3x the mosquito bites they do.Since I started using this candle, I kid you not I havenât gotten a single bug bite. I sit right next to a little outdoor coffee table on which I have the candle, so I canât speak to its radius of protection.I felt lazy the other night and didnât light this candle since I had only planned to sit outside 10-15 minutes, and it has been so dry lately I thought maybe mosquito activity was minimal. Lo and behold, I noticed several mosquito bites when I woke up this morning. If youâre looking for a healthy/natural way to repel mosquitos for a good price, this product is for you!The scent is okayâ itâs not bad but if it wasnât for its mosquito banishing effects I certainly wouldnât choose it based on scent aloneâ every now and again I get a whiff of something reminiscent of hot dogs. As a vegetarian, it isnât an enjoyable smell. As a whole, itâs tolerable though and you grow used to it.Iâll continue to buy these candles. Perhaps in the future they can improve the scent, but Iâll continue to buy regardless for the efficacy!

Smells nice, repels bugs but not worth high price
$20 for a tiny little candle is ridiculous. But, smell is strong and likely kept bugs off. I’ve been pushing the wax down after we light it because its not burning uniformly.

Really works!
So I don’t really ever write reviews, but I had to for this one! I went camping in Texas in peak mosquito season, and brought this candle with me. I burned it the whole time, and not only does it smell great and have clean ingredients, I did not see a SINGLE mosquito the entire time. I did not wear any bug spray. Within a couple of minutes of blowing it out, I began seeing mosquitoes everywhere! So that was proof enough for me that the candle worked. Would definitely recommend!

Not the best
Makes mosquitos buzz in weird circles when they are directly above it but certainly does not repel them. Smells alright though very potent.

Impressive Product
These candles are smaller than I expected, but they last a long time. I usually can’t tolerate the scent of citronella for too long, but because of the other infused oils in this candle, the citronella is not only tolerable, it is pleasant. We bought two more before our first one could burn out. This will be a regular purchase for us. Oh! Most importantly, the bugs and mosquitos stay away from us when this candle is lit.

Awful, not able to keep lit outdoors
Wick does not appropriately stay lit due to wax/wick up to metal side, no protection from wind. Also the casing for the wax allows for the wax to leak out if left out on a hot day. Also wick seems too small to burn wax evenly and not just a hole straight to through to the bottom leaving the wax on the sides unused. Overall useless product as you can’t keep it lit, unlikely to be able to maximize use of the wax and can’t leave outdoors in the heat unless you want to have a waxy mess.
