The Happiest Light I have ever purchased
If you love having the attributes of beauty, function, efficacy and health in the material goods of your life, then I can not recommend the Alba Happy Light enough. I wanted to feel like:I was sitting outside on a very sunny day (but not like on a beach with blazing sun)feel the health benefits of that exposure in uplift in mood and functioningnot add more bulky apparatuses to my work space or relaxation spacehave everything I put in my living spaces add beauty and look elegant….and the Alba Happy Light delivered! I would put one in every room if I could afford it. It is a beautiful round shape, elegant and fairly small. It brightens the room, and makes the space feel cheery even on a dark and cloudy day. In fact, you will be “singing in the rain” (singing on a rainy day). I clearly feel better at the end of a work day when I have to work inside all day by having it around me. And it is easy to move around – so lightweight – you can just move it from room to room with you. I love this product. You do need to be mindful about the charger attachment as when I wasn’t careful it bent when I let the lamp fall. However, the customer service is as excellent as the light itself! They resupplied me with a whole unit! I have also loved some of the other verilux lamps – yet the Alba is the queen for me! It will bring happiness to your office or home!

Worth a try
This is a good size without being an eye sore. Sleek and easy to use. When first using it took a few tries to turn on, but ever since itâs been fine. I love that it has different color tones and brightness settings with easy touch pads. I also use it for a vanity light. Havenât been consistent enough to report on SAD effectiveness, but I would recommend as a starter for anyone contemplating light therapy!

Deeper sleep
I have the original happy light lucent and purchased this one to keep at my boyfriendâs house. I liked that it had a timer and adjustable brightness. The timer doesnât seem to work. Iâve followed the instructions and the light never turns off. The âbuttonsâ to adjust the color and brightness are on the back of the light, so if you pick it up, youâll accidentally touch the buttons (which are touch buttons, not a click or switch) and change the brightness or color. Due to those issues I give this product four stars. I do find it helps my circadian rhythm and I sleep so much better/deeper when I use it.

I like all the settings. It has the timer the different tones of light definitely wakes you up and feel more happy and bright in the morning is when I use it. I donât feel heat at all, though I donât know if thatâs supposed to be a function. But I definitely like the different tones of light they have.

Light worked wonderfully, customer service AMAZING!!!
I had this light for years in my office and it worked wonderfully. Really made a difference as I live in the PNW so greatly affected my SAD. I recently had to move offices and in the process I wound up smashing the end of the cord and the piece that connected to the light broke off. I tried to order a replacement cord and the company didnât have any but said if I took a picture of the damage and proof of purchase, they would ship me a brand new light. I already threw the cord away because it was broken but they replaced the product anyway. Iâve never had customer service go so far above and beyond before.

I will never buy this brand’s products again. After using it for just over a week, the connector cable broke, and I couldnât find a similar replacement cable on the market. I contacted HappyLightâs customer service, and they told me to reach out to the Amazon store. However, it seemed that the store name had changed. After mistakenly sending my message to the wrong store, I contacted Amazon customer service, and they helped me get in touch with the current store. But the current store then told me to contact HappyLight headquarters.After going in circles and wasting so much of my time, the issue was never resolved. I ended up just throwing the product away. I’m now using a different brand’s floor-standing light therapy lamp, and it works great.

I have never used one of these lights.This is small compared to a lot that is offered which appealed to me. I like the ease of use and the options you have in setting it up to use. You have 4 light strengths and 4 colour shades of light to choose from. How effective less light would be I have no idea. It is bright, but you can start out with a lower setting for light intensity and time and work up to what you need. The booklet is clear in directions and use. Heed the warnings if you have any issues.I bought this in November with skepticism it’d would help, HOWEVER I have found it has helped me through the darker period of winter so far, and I am less dragged down by the grey weather on the coast. Also my sleep has improved incredibly which was a huge surprise for me.I would recommend it, but you have to know it takes awhile – a month or 2 before you may feel some effects.

This light is GREAT. I had an older model of therapy light by Verilux, but after a tumble to the floor, the plug/jack thing was bent and wouldn’t work anymore, so I had to replace the light. This time I went with this model and I am SO NOT disappointed. The extra features are great. Love that I can dim the brightness/warm/cool and use it as a room light and not just for therapy. Love that there is a timer. Love how easy it is to use. And the plug/ jack thing is even updated! Definitely a great product. I ordered another!

I’ve been using the lamp for two years, and suddenly it stopped working. I contacted the support, thinking it was a one year garantee only, and actually it was 3! So they send a replacement, that I received the next day. I’m in Canada and days are short with a lot of snow at the moment. This light really helps, 30 minutes every morning improve my mood.

I love the different warmth and brightness settings. This lamp also works great for taking photos since it mimics natural light!I did have an issue with the charger breaking after several months of use. But I emailed the company and a replacement is on it’s way!
