Itâs really works.
Just finished my first bottle of Sleep Fairy and am loving it.I had been using Unisom (doxylamine succinate) ever since I was pregnant with my daughter. I started taking it for morning sickness and loved how easy it was to sleep when taking it. For the last 9 years Iâve relied on it to sleep and became very dependent on it. The problem is that itâs only supposed to be used temporarily, has a drowsy hangover in the morning and long term use of sleep aids has the possibility of exacerbating Alzheimerâs (which my grandfather and great grandmother, his mom, died of).Problem was, I could not sleep without Unisom and every time I tried, my days were ruined from lack of sleep. I decided last month that I had to stop the Unisom, I had to try something. Just melatonin didnât help much, if I added magnesium, a little bit better but still not great.I have a lot of friends that recommended THC edibles for sleep, but I donât love the feeling of THC high and as a mom, I want to be able to wake up and be functional if I need to in the middle of the night.Sleep Fairy is working so well!!! I start to feel drowsy about 30 minutes after I take it and drop off easily and when I wake at night, I fall back asleep without much trouble. Itâs a life saver! Something about all the calming ingredients is really working. I feel like Iâm throwing everything but the kitchen sink (in a natural way) at the problem and one of the ingredients at least is working, probably all of them together. I decided to try Sleep Fairy because it had Melatonin, Valerian, 5HTP, Magnesium, L-Theanine and GABA all in one. Iâve bought all of those separately in the past but taking 6 pills at night- no thanks. Sleep Fairy is working perfectly and I only have to buy one product. Plus I LOVE the name!!! Highly recommend!

Best one so far besides Schiff’s Melatonin Ultra(no longer available)
I have been using this for well over a year, as a replacement for Schiff’s Melatonin Ultra. This one has worked so much better! The blend is great, relaxes me and allows me to fall asleep; even if I wake up i can go back to sleep without much issues. I have it on a subscription so that I never run out.

Never thought I’d find a replacement for Schiff’s Melatonin Ultra but I think I just may have…..
So, I don’t know how many people that are reading this review are actually reading it because Schiff discontinued their ENTIRE Melatonin line and if like me, you’d been taking it FOR MANY, MANY YEARS, you are growing more and more desperate to find a replacement……well, I don’t know if that made sense, but… the point is that I have tried a handful of other products since Schiff discontinued the Melatonin product I had been taking for over 6 or 7 years and until now, I had not found anything that came close to the sleep I was getting with my discontinued sleep aid. I was DEVASTATED when they discontinued it without any warning! IT WAS CRUEL! Anyway, I’ve really tried several other Melatonin supplements that have “similar” ingredients to the Schiff formula, but NOTHING HAS COME CLOSER THAN SLEEP FAIRY!MAJOR PERSONAL DISCLOSURE/DISCLAIMER: I suffer from severe chronic pain in my upper and lower back and I take a ridiculous cocktail of medications that may or may not add to the effects of this sleep aid. In particular, I take 1mg of Klonopin/Clonazepam which my doctor prescribed to help knock me out since I cannot manage to fall asleep on my own due to the level of pain I’m in ALL THE TIME. So basically, I cannot fall asleep naturally. However, the Clonazepam is just the initial knock-out for me – that’s it’s only purpose/job – to knock me out. In order to STAY asleep, I take melatonin supplements – which after a very long time of trying many different sleep aids, I settled on Schiff’s Melatonin Ultra which I used for almost 7 years until they discontinued it at some point in 2018. Since then, I have tried about 5 different options over a period of several months (basically, one month each), and this is the first one that actually helps me get back to sleep if I wake up from the pain in the middle of the night or if I wake up to just use the bathroom – but I am actually able to get back into bed and just fall asleep within minutes again. It’s almost as if I was back on the Schiff product. My only negative about this, which is why I am giving it 4 stars, is that it makes me want to stay in bed A LOT longer than usual (for those that have a fixed sleep schedule, which I don’t, I’d say that this would be the equivalent of you feeling groggy at the time you’re supposed to get up in the morning. What’s crazy to me is that I only take ONE CAPSULE instead of the recommended TWO CAPSULES!!! My sleep schedule is all sorts of messed up though so I don’t know if it has more to do with Sleep Fairy’s interaction with the colossal cocktail of medications I take every night OR if it is indeed a bit stronger than the 6mg (2 tablets) I’d take of the Schiff Melatonin Ultra. If the Sleep Fairy capsules are exactly the same in composition, then you can assume that the 2 capsules which equal 5mg of Melatonin would mean that the formula, cut in half if you take just one capsule like me, would leave you with 2.5mg of Melatonin which is somehow much more effective than the 6mg I had to take with Schiff’s product. Sleep Fairy definitely has the right combination of sleep-enhancing and mind-calming/soothing supplements though because it is hands down the absolute closest I’ve gotten to the formula my body was so accustomed to with Schiff’s product (AND FOR THAT I AM SO GRATEFUL!) Sleep is SO IMPORTANT! I will say though that if my body doesn’t adjust after a couple of months of taking this and I still feel a bit too sleepy or groggy after taking just one capsule, I’ll either 1) empty out a little of the capsule so it’s not as strong or 2) keep looking for the perfect match to Schiff’s Melatonin Ultra (which will be impossible! I’m still incredibly furious that they would just do that and not give customers any warning! Then add that to the cruel people who are trying to sell whatever stock they have left for HUNDREDS of dollars! WHO DOES THAT?!?!!…… But I digress…..OVERALL: I would tell anyone that is maybe a bit “iffy” or unsure about this product and isn’t too sure whether they want to give it a try or not, to at least give it a shot – give it a couple of weeks as I have (I’ve been using it since December 18th until last night January 10th and I’m very, very pleased with it. OH! And most importantly – Do yourself a favor and just start off with ONE CAPSULE instead of TWO and see how it works for you. Only take 2 if the 1 doesn’t do it for you. I haven’t dared take 2 capsules seeing as 1 capsule surprisingly does the trick for me. Lol, with as much sleep as I want after taking just one, if I were to take the recommended dosage of 2 capsules, I’d sleep a full 20 hours before thinking of getting out of bed. =) But again, this is MY experience with the product and I also take a bunch of other medications that interact differently with it so my recommendation would be for you to give it a try and come to your own conclusions – but I honestly would say it is worth a shot!

Doesnât help me stay asleep
It helps me fall asleep (usually) but I wake up in the night and canât fall back to sleep.Iâve been using it for a couple weeks now, ALS have had a few good nights, but itâs inconsistent. If my mind is extra busy, or a noise wakes me up, itâs not strong enough to send me back to sleep.Very sad, as I wanted this to work, but it seems Iâm still looking.
