This was well worth it for our needs
My daughter had surgery for peroneal tendon subluxation, and is unable to be weight bearing for a minimum of 6-8 weeks. If you’ve ever had to use crutches for an extended period of time, then you know of the pain and discomfort that comes with using them ALL day. Crutches really hurt for long distances, and are very slow. They also aren’t always stable it the ground is wet, uneven, or limited space. Having this chair has allowed us to shop, go to the farmers market, go on walks, not have to worry about parking far away etc. This really is a great chair. It is very sturdy and comfortable. It does take up a fair amount of trunk space, but it fits in my Honda civic and is easy enough to get it in and out. The foot rests come off and on very easily. I like that my daughter can wheel herself in it, in addition to being pushed. She is tall (5’10, and about 160 lbs) and finds it to be very comfortable, easy to get in and out of, and not too narrow (of course she is young, flexible, has good upper arm strength and the use of one good leg). I can’t accurately say how this would feel for someone with multiple mobility issues or who is confined to it for very long and extended periods of time, but I will say that she sat in it for a 3+ hours straight at a ballet and felt fine. For us, who will be using it temporarily, it has been well worth it. Renting a wheelchair for 6 weeks would have cost at least the same if not more than buying this wheelchair, and now we have it if we ever need it again. Her best friend’s grandma will be having knee surgery soon and we will lend it to them. Also, depending on you injury, you can buy the other type of foot/leg rest that extends for this model, which is fantastic. We have been using this wheelchair as needed now for over a month, I can say it has definitely been worth it for us. AND, you could always donate it once you no longer need it which is a nice thing to do. It would have not cost you more than a short term rental would have, and you could help someone else in need who might not have otherwise been able to afford the expense of a rental for themselves. win win

Great purchase, sturdy, stable, easy to assemble and use
Recently fractured my tibial plateau, was put in full metal leg brace from ankle to mid- thigh with no bend. Was told I could absolutely not put any weight on leg for 4-6 weeks. Tried using crutches and that was not working for me. Took a chance and ordered this chair, it was a God-sent. Itâs easy to use on hard floors and carpet (takes a little more effort but not bad at all). Was assembled in less than 20 minutes with ease. Very sturdy and comfortable. Iâm about 5â8, 215 pounds and itâs just the right size. Folds up easily for car travel and the breaks hold it very steady for getting in and out. Fits through all my standard doorways (bedroom and bathroom)and I can turn direction very easily. Am now confident I can follow doctorâs orders and keep the weight off my leg.

This wheelchair is a great buy!! It has become a lifesaver for us, allowing me to participate in family days out and trekking through airports (my bucket list travel) while recovering from major surgery and in the midst of heavy chemotherapy. Got this chair for my mom that has a serious lower back and spine problem, she can walk for too long so even going grocery shopping is a pain, but she says she hates wheelchairs because they are big, bulky , ugly and âunattractiveâ lol so I made sure I got the complete opposite with this chair!It has a very wonderful curve appeal, it docent look ugly or like a hospital chair! Itâs super light weight , easy to get on and off her car and carry up stairs. Folds like a dream!! You can drive this thing any direction. Almost feels like you are floating in mid air! But the thing I loved the most is, you can fold the feet rest, and handles to make it more compact and fit in a car and still have Plenty of space!My mom says she is very comfortable in the chair , even with her bad back, she says she sits comfortably even with no Cushion back support! The chair is compact enough to fit through narrow parts of the house like the bathroom or hallway.Over all , listed for $150 original price and ended up paying $72 from the Amazon warehouse deals because the only problem is , one of the wheels is broken from the rim . Dose not effect the functionality what so ever so my mom said it was perfectly fine for the discounted price!Over all, I got a total steal , my mom is very happy with it as well so I would say even go for it for full price! It totally worth it!

Light and compact/handles fold down
I love this wheel chair. The handles fold down and it is really light weight. Great for putting in the car. Really compact. It is comfortable as well and much smaller width wise. Easier to go thru doorways so you don’t scrape your knuckles. I bought this to be able to put on an airline for my vacation. My old wheel chair could not be accommodated because it was too tall for some of the smaller airplanes. Never realized this was a problem until booking a flight. The wheel chair is being loaded into the luggage compartment under the plane. It seems width and length are not the problem it was the height. My advice, make sure you check with airlines when you book a flight in both directions.

I bought this for my mom who has a hip joint issue causing her to be handicapped currently. Itâs super convenient to take on the sidewalks and move inside the house alike. She loves the seat (itâs very comfortable) and the foot rest. We just discovered that the height is adjustable and that makes it even better because sheâs tall so it was slightly uncomfortable at the default length. Itâs on the heavier side to pick up and put in the car trunk etc. but the same weight is what makes it heavy duty. Easy to set up (didnât even need to read the manual to get started). The only thing is that the front wheels are small so sometimes when the surface is uneven we have to go backwards and use the bigger wheel to cross the uneven roads. Hope they fix that for future iterations but weâre okay with it since I push the wheelchair. I donât think itâs the best for someone going by themselves on the streets. It looks sleek and overall great thoughtful design – we love it, and so worth the price!

Got this wheelchair for my elderly mom when visiting us and it’s an excellent purchase!Pro:Price,Excellent construction, sturdy material and great quality of the arms padding.Really easy to drive when carrying a person AND to drive yourself.Easy to fold the chair to store or transport.Cons:Weight: 15Kg is a bit heavy for an elderly to lift it, but OK for a healthy adult.Seat size: the clearance (photo) is tight for an overweight person, but good for the average person.Comfort: nothing major, but consider adding a padding to the seat. An Ikea pillow fits perfectly there.
