Best Natural Deodorant Iâve Ever Used
This deodorant is a game changer. No bad ingredients, smells great, and actually works. Iâm in the military and train Jiu-Jitsu daily, this holds up all day with zero issues. Iâve tried other natural brands, but this one is way better. Bonus: itâs made in the USA and rated âExcellentâ on the Yuka app. This will be my go-to deodorant for life.

The best natural deodorant Iâve tried yet I have tried many.
I have been on a long search for several years now to find a natural deodorant that actually works for me. Let me say that everybodyâs body chemistry is different so what works for one person might not work for another but I have a big problem with sweaty armpits. I do not sweat very much in general unless I am working out except for my pits for some reason I used to have to use clinical deodorant and it was the only thing that worked, however clinical deodorant has icky chemicals and I am trying to rid myself of chemicals andy be a healthier person. Anytime I see a different kind of natural deodorant I buy it and most of them did not work at all a few of them worked a little but had to reapply often I have only had success with two kinds but there was some drawbacks to the other kind that worked for me. The bravo Sierra brand goes on smoothly not gritty at all almost every other kind of natural deodorant I have tried has been gritty except one but that one did not work well. It does not bother sensitive skin unless I just got done shaving then it is a little bit burnie for a moment or two then goes away. I think this is normal for any kind of deodorant though so it does not lose any stars for that. It actually works meaning I do not stink even after a workout in humid weather. Natural deodorant do not stop a person from sweating however this one helps with absorption of that sweat so I do not feel sweaty when I wear this deodorant. It goes on clear. It smells good, though I want to try a different scent as this one is a bit masculine in my opinion. When I first put it on the smell is a bit strong but it mellows out after a little while however if I raise my arms up I can still smell it so I figure it is working the way it is supposed to without being overpowering. My husband also likes this deodorant and the smell of the lemon and tonka bean be however he prefers the spray from this brand in the cedar citrus scent. I think this is my favorite deodorant as far as performance gos but just for reference the other natural deodorant that worked for me was Schmitz, my husband actually likes that one better however I had to re-apply that partway through the day and I do not with the bravo Sierra brand it lasts all day even through a work out. He however says he can apply the Schmitz and it lasts two days for him so like I said everybodyâs body chemistry is different. I think the Schmitz is grittier then the bravo Sierra so I like the bravo Sierra texture better. However I do like the Schmitz sent options better, their Jasmine T specifically is my favorite but I like a lot of their sents. There is something in the bravo Ciara that reminds me a little of soap but it is not very strong just faintly noticeable. All in all I will have to try other sents in this brand however it is my new go to I just wish they had a few more feminine sent options.

Bought all 5- liked Citrus/Cedarwood best. But it does leave white marks on clothes
Scent is super personal + reacts differently w body chemistry for each individual, so you might like this scent. Overall, I liked that the scent wasn’t overpowering (like the Dr. Squatch brand ewww gross). It left a subtle scent that lasted a long time. I used rubbing alcohol on a paper towel to try to remove the scent, but some still lingered on my skin. So as a deoderant I give it 5/5 stars.I bought all 5 scents to compare. For me, the majority of the Bravo Sierra deoderants smell slight like soap to me, other than the Citrus/Cedar and the Fig/Sandalwood.The Grapefruit was too sharp. I hated this scent the most. 2/5 stars based on scent aloneThe Tonka Bean has a subtle soapy scent. 3/5 stars based on scent alone. The White Vetiver is a mix (for me) of the Grapefruit’s sharpness and Tonka Bean’s soapy scent. 2.5/5 stars based on only the scent.Fig/Sandalwood smells herbaceous but not like a Christmas tree piney (which I like). Kind of a woodsy scent; like a tree with a baby powder finish. No soapy scent at all! Scent-wise I’d give it a 4/5 stars, but I wish it smelled more like a Christmas tree instead of just a tree, but glad I don’t smell like a bar of soapCitrus/Sandalwood smells the most masculine to me. Has a minuscule soapy scent for me that fades as it mixed w my body chemistry. As a female, it reminds me of a guy so I don’t hate it lol. Smells like an ex’s cologne (Jo Malone). I like that the BS deodorants aren’t overpowering yet still have a long- lasting fragrance. Scent-wise, I give it 4.5/5 starsCompared to other men’s deoderants, I’d say Bravo Sierra’s offers the most diverse scents that “aren’t in-your-face” overpowering/”I’m a teenage boy who takes cologne showers” lol. While subtly-fragranced, they are long-lasting. As a deoderant I’d say they’re great. As an anti-perspirant, I’m still on the fence. These deoderants weren’t drying on me nor caused an allergic reaction, which the Native brand does for me.It also goes on smoothly compared to all the other aluminum-free deodorants I’ve tried. However, it may be *too* moisturizing bc it feels kind of oily to me. Because of that, I’m not sure it actually helps with sweat or if that was just residue on my skin.I bought this primarily as an anti-perspirant (yes, I know only aluminum is FDA-approved as an anti-perspirant, but my main issue is sweating not odor). I wear this under my pits and between my boobs for sweat. Interestingly enough, when I was wearing a long-sleeve shirt and I was sweating, my underarms stayed dry, but I still had boob sweat. I wonder if a thin layer of clothing is needed to soak the excess moisturize/oiliness? Bc I noticed once I blotted it my boobs stayed dry. And yes, it was actual sweat bc the rest of my torso was sweating (gym). Going to see if this improves over time (read Real Purity actually works as an anti-perspirant but it needs a few days to kick in), but as an anti-perspirant I’d rate it 3.7/5 stars. To be fair, the only aluminum-free deoderants I’ve used are Native, Dr. Squatch, and Bravo Sierra. Of those 3, BS works the best as an anti-perspirant.I like that these are army-tested and the company gives back to the militaryThe major con (other than scent) is that it does rub off onto clothes! At first I didn’t notice the white transfer marks bc I think it was still “drying” when I put on my top. Some time later I realized I had those annoying white deoderant marks on my shirt even though I tried keeping my shirt as far from my pits as possible. So you might think it doesn’t leave any transfer marks on dark clothing, but wait and you’ll see it :(I’ve only worn this with darker-colored shirts and tank tops so I haven’t noticed staining, unlike Native and Dr. Squatch (grey due to charcoal!!)Pros:- glides smoothly- doesnt dry skin; moisturizing- subtle (not overpowering), long-lasting scent- gives back to militaryCons:- still shows white deoderant spots onto tops- most of these smell soapy to me (like Irish Spring)Undecided:- not sure if it works as an anti-perspirant; seemed “wet,” but could’ve just been the texture of residue on skin
