Customers say

Customers find this electric toothbrush better than a manual one and appreciate its value for money, particularly noting the inexpensive replacement head options. The cleaning ability receives positive feedback, with one customer highlighting how the oscillating bristles thoroughly clean, and many find it convenient for travel, especially when going to other countries. The functionality and durability receive mixed reviews – while some say it works well and is well-built, others report it stops working after a few months and breaks constantly. The battery life and size also get mixed feedback, with some praising the AA battery operation and perfect size, while others complain about the batteries going dead quickly and find the brush head too small.

    Great toothbrush for great price
Works really well, makes the teeth squeaky clean, not sure how long the brush heads lasts but I can say that the gums have stopped bleeding.

Oral-B Pro-Health Battery Toothbrush Precision Clean
If your sick and tired of buying rechargeable toothbrushes with internal batteries that quickly loose their charge capacity and can’t be replaced, then this toothbrush is for you. These toothbrushes also feature electronics that keep the motor voltage constant – and hence maintain optimal orbital brushing speed – even as the battery voltage declines as they discharge. So motor power is held consistant right up until the end when the batteries near complete depletion where finally the motor just stops. So you get optimal performance right to the end of set of batteries! This feature also means despite the lower voltage of using 2x 1.2V NiMH rechargeable cells, you get the same brushing speed and power as using 2x 1.5V Alkaline cells. This is great! as rechargeable NiMH cells last longer due to holding more charge capacity, are cheaper in the long-term, and save you throwing out bucket loads of spent Alkaline cells that would end up in landfill.Build quality of the units is great as you’d expect for a Braun, even for a cheaper unit. The battery chamber seals well but can be perfected by applying a thin layer of vaseline or other grease around the O-ring of the lower snap out section. This guarantees moisture vapour can’t get into the battery chamber which over time can corrode rechargable batteries in long term service. The on/off switch is smartly sealed beneath a rubber membrane which ensures water can’t get into the internals. The 2-minute timer is a nice feature. At this time interval the motor briefly oscillates off-on-off-on to let you know how long you’ve been brushing but if you wan’t to keep brushing, you can as it doesnt turn the motor off.Overall this brush is great, especially for the price. The fact that ageing rechargable batteries can be replaced as their capacity diminishes means you can expect years of service from one of these, whereas the more expensive units with internal batteries are useless junk as soon as they loose the majority of their capacity.I changed from using a Spinbrush Pro clean to this Braun, and the improvement is terrific. The Spinbrush ran too-slow on lower voltage rechargable batteries, the battery chamber leaked, the button corroded and became unreliable, and batteries quickly corroded due to the leaking chamber. All these problems are remedied with this Braun model.

    Lasts for a year
I’ve purchased two of these and each lasted one year before dying (battery still runs but it just stutters, the head stopped spinning). When the second one died recently, I wasn’t going to purchase this one again because in my memory, it had been closer to $90 or so. But when I found this page, I see that it’s currently under $15. So I’m purchasing it for a third time. It seems crazy wasteful, since the idea is that it will just keep working and you can change out the brush heads only, but it does work nicely and I like that it’s small to pack for traveling. In sum: works great for about a year, but since it’s cheap, it’s still my preferred toothbrush.

Not once, not twice, but three times.
Great entry level electric toothbrush. Cleans teeth well for the price point and heads are easy to find and replace. I initially bought 2 for my family and bought myself 1 later. The battery is easy to get to and lasts a pretty long time.

Use this on the dogs teeth and it works very well.
I used this on our pomeranian who doesn’t like her teeth brushed because her gums bleed. This was much more gentle than a regular toothbrush and she let me brush each tooth and the gums thoroughly. No bloody gums, I’m happy with this toothbrush. I used the sensitive extra soft bristle with it. She is very food motivated and I bribe her with a quarter inch piece of Pupperoni for each side of upper and lower teeth. It does make noise but it didn’t bother the dog with the bribe in sight.

It does the job but drains batteries fast
Updated review:In my original review I gave it 1 star and mentioned how it started to inexplicably malfunction after only a month of use. After additional troubleshooting, turns out, it was the battery. I had put brand new Duracell batteries in this thing when I got it, but it uses more power than other models I’ve used in the past. Thus, you have to change it out more often. I would say Duracell batteries run down in this device after a month of twice-daily use. Might be even shorter for cheaper brand batteries. When the battery is low it will turn on and off while you’re brushing. It will also do that twitching thing randomly that it is only supposed to do when the 2 minute timer runs out. It only happens when the battery is low. I’ve tested this several times now and as soon as I put in a new battery, it works perfectly again. So, it isn’t a malfunction like I originally thought, but there was no way I would’ve known that if I didn’t troubleshoot. Changing my star rating to 5 stars since it does the job and makes it easier to know if I’m brushing for the dentist recommended 2 minutes.Original review:After a month, the toothbrush no longer spins. I noticed a few times that once the timer activates (where it’ll vibrate for a few seconds) it would malfunction and stop spinning for a few seconds. But now, even after replacing the heads and troubleshooting, it continues to malfunction.

Muy buen producto. La limpieza dental inmejorable. Recomiendo usar baterías recargables pues las consume rápido y el costo beneficio de comprar vs recargar puede pegar en el bolsillo.

Love the power. Not too strong, not too light. Love that it helps to fight plaque. Love the timer feature. Love that I don’t have to keep it on my bathroom counter. Great purchase!
