You will wake up!
This thing is ridiculously bright. If you wake up drowsy, or think “let me sleep another 30min.” do yourself a favor and get this lamp. Even if you wake up tired, after this thing is at your face for 10 minutes you will be fully awake. You won’t even care about sleeping again. You will be ready to go about your day. It gets your circadian rhythm going at the right direction and in the evening you will naturally get sleepy, take that train and do the sleeparoo. You will feel great the next day by waking up naturally before your alarm even rings. Do this light every day for 10-30 minutes and your body will feel great. I wake up usually before the sun is out (6AM or so), it really doesn’t matter if it’s winter or not. It will help your body understand, it’s time to wake up and in the evening to sleep. This thing is absolutely great and I’d say it is worth it.

Works great, would recommend over Northern Light Technologies bulb-based lamps
tl;dr: great product, would recommend. The light is very bright and diffused enough to feel like daylight (i.e., you don’t notice dots or anything similar that one might expect from an LED-based light). I purchased Northern Light’s LiteUP box a couple years ago, which gets top ratings and was also a great light. The bulbs in that product burned out, however, and are now out of stock (and the company has been unresponsive to calls and emails). This LED option seems superior.

The light is fine, but I’m leaving 3 stars because it seems like I was misled that the lamp is 12k LUX when it’s actually 10k. The instructions in the attached photo refer to a 10k max, and earlier reviews for this product refer to the lamp being10k. I was willing to pay more for 12k LUX and it seems like I was misled. I’ve seen this apparent bait and switch tactic on Amazon before, and I think people should be aware when inconsitencies like this exist before they buy.

This product has changed my life. I heard about it via Bryan Johnson on Youtube. I wake up and go get my herbal caffeine-free coffee and I sit in front of it for my 30 mins morning light therapy. It has completely transformed my groggy, unhappy & unproductive mornings into awake, happy & productive. I honestly recommend it for anyone. I feel so much better about life. I even wake up naturally most of the time now when I’ve always needed alarms as I use it around the same time each day. Just use it in the morning as you’ll have a hard time going to sleep if you use it later. It’s extremely bright & huge but that is studied to perform the best. This model has the power light-touch button. 4 light options (use max for the major benefits) & 15 to 60 mins auto off light-touch buttons. I just set to 30 mins for my session and it automatically turns off & I’m ready to start the day. I’ve needed this my whole life. It’s turned me into a morning person. Try and get it on sale using a coupon or on discount but otherwise it’s extremely worth it. Also, don’t stare at the light but in the direction of it & put another light on in the room when using it so when it auto shuts off you aren’t left in a dark room.

I like the mounting and position options.My experience has been positive.I spend 45 minutes in front of the light in the early morning.Placed hanging about 18 inches in front of me .The bottom of the light box about forehead level and tilted down at my face roughly simulates the angle that sunlight would travel to my eyes.I feel energized and alert after using it and now wake up on my own just before my alarm sounds. My usage has been fairly punctual.I wasn’t sure if light therapy was going to work for me but I can honestly report that it has and I’m glad I started. Winter isn’t gloomy anymore for me.
