Customers say

Customers find the knee brace provides good support and comfort, allowing them to walk without pain, and appreciate its effectiveness in stabilizing knees during exercise. The brace receives positive feedback for its stability, with customers noting it stays in place well, and one mentioning the stabilizers on the sides help prevent twisting. However, the size runs small, and customers report issues with circulation being cut off. Moreover, the fabric quality is poor, with multiple customers reporting the brace ripping within the first week, and customers disagree on the support level.

A great support for a painful knee
This gives me the knee support I need and in doing so relieves the pain that I otherwise have in the knee. The support’s elastic along with its vertical braces really help. I chose a Medium size for my 16-inch knee (measurement around the knee) and the sizing is near-perfect, just a tad tight. I had tried another brand before I bought the Futuro and the other brand’s Medium was way too tight. This Futuro is easy to pull on, but just a tad difficult to take off. To keep the support clean, the instructions are for hand washable. I did throw it into the regular machine wash load and it came out fine. But in doing so I may be limiting the life of the support. But so far, no problems. I’m not recommending machine wash – I’m just not up to doing any laundry by hand. If you have a sore knee, try the Futuro – this provides good support.

Really well-made by 3M and it really works to relieve the pain in my knees
I searched at multiple drugstore and wound up returning two types that I bought online. The materials used to make them felt cheap and seemed likely to rip, or wear out in no time.At some point, somewhere I noticed the 3M logo on a Futuro package and opened the box, to check the construction. I was very happy to find a quality product and after wearing one for a couple of days I can honestly state that they work as advertised.I don’t wear it everyday, but when my knee acts up I put it on and in no time the pain is gone.

    Runs very small
Had to return the first one due to sizing. The reviews stating that this runs very small are correct. I exchanged the medium for a large and it’s better, but still a little constricting where the bottom of the brace fits around my calf. I have normal size calves but the seam is tight and leaves a groove around my calf. I’ve considered cutting a slit in the seam to loosen it up a bit because otherwise I really like the brace, but I’m not sure if that’s a good idea or not. I’m keeping this one because it’s comfortable (except for the bottom seam) and flexible but also stabilizing. It’s really exactly what I was looking for aside from the tightness around my calf.

Comfortable Knee Brace with Flexible Stays.
I have a torn meniscus but am not ready for surgery. I have tried a few different braces over the past two years. This is my favorite.I prefer this product over the braces with external metal stays and hinges. The flexible stays in this compression sleeve offer me sufficient support and remind me not to push my knee too far. Like any brace, it feels great to take it off at the end of the day. However, this brace is OK for long periods of wear. It does not irritate my skin, it does not pinch, and it does not bind. The braces with the external metal stays and hinges become uncomfortable almost immediately.I will definitely order this again in the futur.

    Decreased quality – very disappointed
I have been wearing Futuro knee supports for the past 3 years. I like the style, and feeling and the weight. A pair could last me from 10 months to 14 months before the support got weaker, but the materials were never worn out.I got a new pair 9 days ago from Amazon. I have just worn them 3 times, but the elastics are getting broken out already in both of them. And of course, they are losing the support. I just can’t believe it and am very disappointed. I am wondering why the quality has decreased so much?! The only difference is that I bought all mine in the past Walgreen pharmacy where I paid a little more. This is the first time I got the products from Amazon (due to the pandemic surge in NYC, I don’t want to go out that much). Does Futuro offer Amazon a better price, but products with compromised quality?? The quality is really poor now.

    A good knee brace
This brace works well. I am able to walk without pain. The only issue I’ve had is the hole around my knee cap seems quite tight, but after a few wears it is not uncomfortable.

Seems like a good brace, runs quite small
Important note: Amazon will not accept a return for this item because it is a drugstore/health item. Would have been nice for the description to say so before I ordered it! For the price, this seems like a well-made product. I bought it because it could be washed and wasn’t made of neoprene. The fabric feels soft and the stabilizer seems to offer a lot of support. I did not actually wear it though because it is way too small – the reason for the three-star review. I measured as directed and was right on the border between a small and medium, so I bought the medium. The top of the brace gives my thigh a huge muffin top and there is no way I could wear it for hiking or walking due to the tightness. I ended up buying the Futuro support sleeve without the stabilizer at the grocery store where I could try it on and it fits/works better for my needs. If the fit works for you and you need the support of the stabilizers, I could see this being a good brace. Consider ordering at least a size up if you have muscular thighs.
