Improves the water quality of my hot tub.
I bought for filtering water for my hot tub.I put two together and what a difference it makes for the water quality.Now i just use bromine tablets along with this filtered water and what a bid difference.The water stays clear for many weeks and the bromine disolves slowly. I put in new tablets one per week if that.The filters last me for about 10 changes of water, and may last even longer.

I bought the filter for my washer. Iâve used it two weeks now, and I know my clothes are softer. I can definitely see and feel a difference. I used the extra flexible hose attachment, and added the filter to the hose rather than the faucet. Itâs big. Very happy with the product. Itâs well worth the money, and very easy to install.

Okay, if you’re looking at these you’re either filling up your hot tub or needed for your RV. I came on here looking to buy the namebrand filter and of course Amazon basic pops up. In the early stages of Amazon basic products I was hesitant now I exclusively shop for their items first. At least 70% of the time they’re less expensive and exactly the same as what you’re looking for. Let’s about 50% of the time you’ll save 70% on the item get twice as many and be just as satisfied with more money in your pocket. I only by “namebrand” products when Amazon basic does not make the same thing. Check out their batteries, love them and save a ton

I bought these for our cold water line on my wash since we live in West Texas. It does a great job of filtering the lime scale from the water lines. Havenât had issues with the washer since I started using these. Will buy again in 6 months since you get 2 and theyâre a 90 day use

Weak threads
On the day that I recieved my filters (purchased two of them) I had connected both of them, one to the water hose in the front of our house and one to the hose on the back. I noticed as I was making the connections that the threads didn’t feel all that great but I went ahead with connecting them. Not long after this I was called away and had to head in to work early and didn’t take time to double check the connections before leaving, and left the hoses pressurized. Common practice in warm weather with spray nozzles on the ends of the hoses. Sure enough, while I was at work one of the connections failed on the filter that had earlier drawn my concern. The water apparently ran for the remainder of that day and all night as well. My wife found the hose spraying at full blast the next morning. My water bill for this thread failure was over $100. An outrageous amount considering that it is rarely over $35 for two months. If you choose to make this purchase my advice would be to never leave your hose on when no one is monitoring it and also to install a shut off valve between the spigot and the filter just in case. Next time I will spend a little more up front to purchase a better built filter.

Ãltimamente la calidad del agua en la ciudad ha decaÃdo y viene con muchos metales pesados y sarro, por eso opte por colocarle un filtro de agua a mi lavadora, no sólo para prevenir daños en la ropa, también que mi lavadora se dañe y me pueda durar más tiempo.El filtro permite un flujo de agua muy bueno, también depende de la fuerza con que el agua llegue a tu domicilio o baje de tu deposito de agua. Si a se abre toda la llave tiene un flujo muy bueno, lo que necesita la lavadora.El instructivo dice que precio a conectarlo hay qur conectarlo a una salida y dejar correr elahua, esto es importante para que el exceso de carbón salga, no te saltes el paso y lo conectes de inmediato. Dice que dejes correr el agua 15min pero eso es mucho, de 3 a 5 a presión fuerte saca todos los sedimentos, solo asegurate de guardar o apartar esa agua para riego o el baño.
