Quite impressed
Was curious to try shampoo and conditioner in bar form for my curly hair. Ended up buying this set and also purchased the bags: so i could hang them to keep the bars dry. Ive been using this set for 3 weeks and so far, I’m honestly quite impressed. My curly hair has always looked best when shampooing twice a week, and using conditioner only in-between shampoos. Kept my same routine just exchanged the bottle stuff for these solid bars.Shampoo = using the bag, I rub the bar until it lathers and paint it on my scalp and crown only (my ends are dry as it is). I do let the shampoo sit for awhile before rinsing. Shampoo lathers fairly quickly and leaves my hair feeling clean of product. Shampoo bar was more easy to figure out vs conditioner bar.Conditioner = much more difficult to tell if it’s ready to “paint” as it doesn’t lather. I usually rub the bar in its bag, until I think the product is spreading onto my hands.. and paint all of my hair, all over, multiple times as my hair has always needed much more conditioner than shampoo. I also let this sit for 10-15 mins. As I’m rinsing, I swear my hair feels like butter. It’s beyond soft, way more soft than using bottle products.As far as styling goes… I only use my normal hair gel (and less of it to boot). I always air dry, no heat ever. I cut out all other products I used to use…cream, hair spray, and other gels.My hair is soft, bouncy, curls more defined, waaay more volume, and it just feels waaaay more healthy than bottled stuff. Shampoo bar should last me quite awhile as I only use it twice a week. I’ll probably need a conditioner bar long before the shampoo: but that’s how it’s always been. I blast through conditioner long before needing shampoo.Lastly, since I cut out all my other styling products.. I only use 3 things on my hair. This bar set and gel. (Saving money in the long run really).If you’re on the fence: I’d say at least try it, and buy the bags. For the Conditioner bar, just continue to paint and paint and paint, let it sit, and rinse.

Love it⦠except for the scentâ¦
I have natural curly coarse hair and always try to use products without sulfates and silicones. Bonus points if itâs eco friendly and doesnât come in a plastic bottle (it did come in a plastic bag thoughâ¦).These bars are great! The shampoo lathers very nicely and cleans my hair exceptionally well without stripping it. Another reviewer mentions that she goes longer without washes and I absolutely second that! I usually wash my hair every other day because my scalp starts getting itchy, flaky and smelling funky. But with this bar, if I donât exercise or sweat too much, I can easily go every two days, sometimes even three. Love that!The conditioner is gentle too, but itâs enough conditioning to completely detangle my hair in the shower and leave it soft and conditioned.My hair has been looking great after I started using this set: healthier, soft, manageable, less frizzy.There is only one thing I donât like about his particular set (the Coconut one): the scent. I wasnât aware of the fact it wouldnât smell like coconut. It smells like burned marshmallows, sort of like medicine to me. The box says âFragrance: Toasted Vanilla & Macadamia Milkâ. Honestly, I do not like the smell at all. And, unfortunately, it lingers. My hair smells like it, my pillow case smells like it. But scent is just a personal preference. Anyway, itâs a great product. I purchased another set, the Rice Water one. And made sure to check the scent first: âwhite tea and mandarinâ. I havenât used that one yet, but scent wise, itâs certainly more pleasant.

The smell is amazing, like Iâm on a vacation. Itâs hard to find a shampoo that doesnât irritate my scalp. After spending a lot of money on shampooâs/conditioners, I finally found one that hydrates my hair and scalp. My scalp hasnât be itchy or flaking since switching to this set. Iâm very happy with my purchase.

I tried these bars for the first time this morning. I’m pleasantly surprised at how well they work. I was a bit skeptical because they don’t feel like traditional shampoo/conditioner. But they work great! Perfect or traveling which is what I wanted. Less space in the travel bag and perfect for carryon bags!

This is my absolute favorite product from Kitsch!Iâve used their bar shampoo and conditioner for over a year and have liked all the various ones. This moisturizing shampoo and conditioner is one I had not yet tried until recently and it is by far, my favorite. I wished Iâd found this one earlier. Wonderful smell, great lathering from the shampoo and the conditioner left my curly hair shiny and soft.I was a bit worried about it smelling too strongly of coconut but it doesn’t at all. This one has the best fragrance of all their products. Very clean smell.
