I’ve only ever used a foam roller identical to the large cylindrical one featured in this set, and it performs exactly as expected. Foam rollers tend to be pretty consistent across the board, and this one is no different.The provided foam roller is medium-sized, which is great for most users, but if you’re looking for something larger, this might not be for you. But if you want a good bang for your buck, this is it. Because in addition to the main roller, this set includes several niche tools for more targeted massage work, like for your neck and feet. My favorite piece is the massage stickâit’s portable, just as effective, and super convenient for those days when you want relief without having to lie down on the floor.That said, there are a few drawbacks. First, the instruction manual that came in the box only covers exercises using the foam roller. There is a short video clip online on the other items, but not in much detail. Second, the carry bag could use some improvements: it lacks compartments, so all the items end up tossed together inside and it’s very tight and compact. I had a little trouble at first figuring out how to get everything to fit in the bag. Finally, while all the items came packaged in a box, there was also plastic packaging around the items inside. Not only is this excessive and environmentally unfriendly, but it was also tough to remove without potentially damaging the more delicate foam materials.

Good recovery tools and basic strength/PT tools
Based on the description, I wasn’t sure what materials to expect for these. I’ve listed material guesses below now that I’ve received the items. Hopefully it helps.Foam: foam roller, peanut, and ball.Hard plastic: spiky ball, handheld massage stick.Nylon: stretch strap (not stretchy itself) and mesh bag.Rubber of some sort: resistance bands.Thoughts:I think this is a pretty well-rounded set for basic strengthening/prehab and muscle recovery. I’ve used resistance bands for years and these are comparable quality. They have varied resistance levels – one improvement would be to label the resistance level on the bands.The foam roller/peanut/ball are good for releasing tight muscles or warming up muscles before exercise. I actually left the plastic on the foam roller so it’s easier to wipe down.The handheld stick was more pleasant than I had expected (it looks painful but feels relaxing). It is hard plastic, but it feels really nice for loosening muscles/getting trigger points, and it’s up to you how hard you press. This did not affect me, but someone with longer hair on legs or wherever might need to be careful for it getting pulled by the rotating rollers.The plastic spiky ball is really great for feet and sensory work. I use it to prepare my body for movement because my muscles move better when I can feel them/be aware of them beforehand. Just press lightly.The nylon stretching strap is itself not stretchy and has helpful loops for latching onto various areas you’re trying to stretch (or as handholds). It seemed sturdy enough. Nothing super fancy.Value for money: to me, it has a reasonable value at $30, but not at $50 (if there’s no $20 coupon). This is based on what I think it would cost to buy these items separately and possibly with different quality.Overall, I have no complaints about the product itself, and think it could be a good set or gift for someone looking for recovery/sensory/strengthening tools. Rating: 5 stars.Note unrelated to my own rating: when I’m writing this, there are3 reviews of 5 stars,1 review of 3 stars(so 4 reviews total).For some strange reason, the percentages are showing as25% 5 stars and75% 3 stars when it should be the opposite.

Decent set for deep tissue massage ahhhh
So far, Iâm enjoying this kit for muscle pain relief and tension relief. I donât quite know what to say about the quality of the items as Iâm not super experienced here. I do have other foam rollers for comparison, and I would say they are a little bit better quality. But this one seems to work well. The regular price of $50 seems much too high, and the current sale price of $35 is better, but even that seems a little bit steep, considering what all of these items are made of and how simple they are in shape and everything. But, these days youâre not going to find them for much cheaper, I imagine.I just looked back at the invoice for the foam rollers I got before, and I got a 12 in for $12 and a 36 in for $30. So thereâs that for a little comparison. So $35 is probably not a bad price for all that you get, I donât know.Itâs a nice comprehensive set for deep tissue massage, which is what Iâm after, and so far Iâm enjoying the relief I get from using these items. My feet sure enjoy the rollers after a 12 hour shift. I need to use the resistance bands more. ð¤ And the foam roller is really good for my aching back. Iâm satisfied with this product and would recommend it.
