Moved from a sunny city to one where it rains half the year. My first winter was probably the most depressed I’d ever been, so I bought this in preparation for my second winter. I place it on my desk behind my laptop and use it as a light daily for work Zoom calls, which works perfectly to look at it indirectly. I like that it doesn’t take up much desk space and the light is higher up compared to the classic little rectangle ones. I feel a ton better than I did this time last year.

Glitchy switch and doesn’t really work as a sunlamp.
I didn’t notice any difference with this light. I bought another expensive one that was taking forever to come, so I ordered this one in the meantime. The switch is really sensitive and turning it on and off is a lesson in frustration. It’s fine if you just need a light, but if you’re looking for a sunlamp for SAD, I’d look elsewhere.

Better than other bulky happy lights!
I live in Seattle so I use this light to get my morning light and dose of âsunshineâ because of the lack of real sunlight in the winter/fall/spring here. I used to have another bulky happy light and I needed to replace the bulb. The cost of buying a new bulb was essentially the same as this one, so I decided to try it. I wanted something that was going to be sleek that I could leave on the kitchen counter. I love this one. It folds up super smoothly and I love that the light is kind of coming from above (Iâve heard thatâs better because it mimicks sunlight more). One weird thing about this light is there is a light on that back which I havenât quite figured out the purpose for that. The sensors for turning the lights on and off are also very sensitive, which is good because they turn off easy but can sometimes be bad cause sometimes you will accidentally turn it on when you move it. But overall giving it 5 stars because of the great sleek design and itâs much better and more aesthetically pleasing than other happy lights Iâve used and it gets the job done!

It has a very easy touch function for switching between modes and turning the light on and off. There is a small nightlight at the back that is also touch activated.I’ve been using it daily for about two weeks now and I’ve definitely noticed a visible improvement in all the previous above mentioned side effects of the Vitamin D deficiency.As a bonus, it works great as a selfie light too!

Pretty bright light with a cute little nightlight in the back, however there are only three brightest settings and one hue for the main light: cool. Thereâs a warm night light in the back but itâs kinda inconvenient. But the light therapy seems to work ð¤·ââï¸
