Customers say
Customers find the thermometer works well for over 10 years, with accurate indoor and outdoor temperature readings that agree with local news reports. The display is easy to read from across the room, and customers consider it good value for money, with one noting it pays for itself through electricity savings. While some customers report it held up through mountain New Hampshire winters, others mention it broke after a few weeks. The size receives mixed feedback, with some appreciating its compactness while others find the numbers too small to read.

Reliable and accurate
This is our second purchase of an indoor-outdoor thermometer. It works well and is sufficiently accurate (within 1 or 2 degrees of other reliable temp gauges). Has been thru a winter in a protected area outdoors and still works. It is relied on daily.Ver easy to set-up and use.

Use Lithium Batteries for Low Temperature Extremes
Use this Digital Thermometer in our Greenhouse. Sensor placed in Greenhouse with Lithium batteries. Initially tried Alkaline batteries for outside sensor and received incorrect readings. Changed to Lithium batteries and the unit worked perfect. Lithium batteries have a higher tolerance for low temperatures. Greenhouse is about 100 feet from the display unit and have not had any issues with the wireless range. The wireless signal indicator showing strength of signal is a good feature. Another good feature is the two low battery indicators. One for the outdoor sensor and one for the display unit. Love the posting of the high and low temperatures over a 24 hour period. Excellent user support as I was able to clear up one issue within two days over email. Great unit for the cost.

Easy to set up. Simple and clear. Accurate.
This is the second unit that I’ve purchased. The first lasted years and would still be working had squirrels not dislodged the sender – that layed in water for a few days. The product shows only inside/outside Temps and the high – lows for thar previous day. It has proven accurate to the local news and is easy to set up. Battery covers come off easy so replacement is a breeze. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that the sending unit has a thick hanging section, requiring a long, thin fastener to hold it in place, making it fairly easy for it to be dislodged.

Easy to read
Easy to read. Seems to be more accurate than others I have had. Works well from every place I have tried.

Accurate and easy to read
I replaced a 20 yo similar thermometer with this one. The main difference is that it doesnât announce the temperature which is better because after being silent for many years it started after the batteries were changed. We couldnât shut it up. This new one is easier to read at distances. It is a little smaller but is a good size and a good value. I canât say anymore than that since weâve only had I about a week.

Very happy with this purchase.
Seems to be an accurate display of outdoor temps without actually going outside. Takes up little space inside and can be moved in a jiffy.

Two straight units have been calibrated incorrectly – outdoor temperature readings are wrong
[the model number on the front of the AcuRite instruction manuals is 00424M, while the model number on the back of the outdoor sensors is 00606TXA1. Confusing? I certainly think so! Something feels screwy about that! Why don’t the manual and sensor have the same model number?!]I bought the first of my two AcuRite thermometers from Amazon in November 2024, but didn’t notice until the recent cold snap (I live in the PNW) that my outdoor temperature readings were off by 4 degrees. I returned the first sensor/receiver pair last week, and received the second sensor/receiver pair a couple of days ago – it also is off by 4 degrees for the outdoor reading. I have written AcuRite asking them if I should just keep exchanging them through Amazon Prime until I get one that works correctly, which certainly couldn’t be profitable for either AcuRite or Amazon!* this incorrect sensor reading occurs, as far as I can tell, around 45 degrees. When I brought both pieces insides (both times), the temperature readings were the same for both the sensor and receiver. It’s between 40-45 degrees that the 4 degrees differential appears.* I am using lithium batteries in the sensor, it’s 8 feet above a wooden deck, and it’s under an eave. I’m using the same nail that I have for over 5 years with other AcuRite thermometers.* I have two points of calibration: a Weather Underground weather station one block from my house, and the thermometer in my 3-year-old York heat pump.Up until now, I have always been very pleased with AcuRite. I wonder if they got sold to somebody?

Es un buen termómetro si esperas tener j a lectura tanto interior como exterior, además de que te da el % de humedad.Muy recomendable
