Not too hard, not too soft – I use them together. The middle does fall out when carrying it around, so be careful of that. Also just a little too short. But does the job for a travel roller. I use it to roll out my back. Good quality, no smell.

Great little foam roller.
This is two-in-one. There’s a hard foam roller on the outside with a stiff plastic liner and then a smaller, softer roller inside. I mainly use the outer one and don’t touch the inner roller. It works as advertised and shows no signs of wear after 2 months of regular use. I’m 5′ 11″ and 220 lb and I do the whole-body routine with in on the floor before warming up for exercise. I highly recommend this roller.

Incredible Muscle and Pressure Relief
Exactly as advertised. Two in one back roller. The outside of the blue part is a bit softer than my previous one (not purchased here), which is a huge improvement! The hard inner shell gives support while the nubs really work into my muscles. The inner, foam only roller is just an exquisite overall muscle relief when the nubby, firmer roller is too much.Great roller!!!
