Upper Body Strength Needed
I REALLY LOVE THESE!! I am 59 years old, 135 lbs, disabled & under 5â tall. Getting out of a car is difficult for me. I found these to be EXTREMELY helpful! Small enough to carry with me when I go to an appointment with another person driving me too. However, my Mom is 82 years old & these werenât very helpful for her. Being 4â 7â, I thought it would help her more than myself. Unfortunately, in my opinion, one needs to have some decent upper body strength to use this handy device. They are very sturdy & fit a little bit loosely, which doesnât effect the safety & function of them though. I use them for getting into my car as well, as I have balance issues & a LOT of pain. These can be used by children too, as long as theyâre physically able to do so. Another useâ¦itâs a great bag holder if you have several to carry! I keep one in all of my vehicles & highly recommend this if youâre having difficulty getting in and/or out of a vehicle.

AVOID THIS PRODUCT
Ordered this to assist my 80 yr old Mother in law get in and out of my car as she needs a walker and has trouble getting in and out of the car. I ordered the 2 pack so my wife could have one too. Took them out of them out of the box and was disappointed to feel how light weight these are but figured I would try it. First, the hook end does NOT seat very well in to the latch of the door frame. 2nd, my Mother in law used this handle to hold while she turned out of the walker AND THE END SNAPPED OFF! She almost fell. The picture in the box shows an elderly man with his hand gripping it and makes it look like itâs a foot long! IT IS NOT. Gripping area is 5-6 inches at most and certainly canât be used as an âArm Restâ. It might work as a seatbelt cutter and I would be afraid to use it as a window breaker if my life depended on it. Gave it one star for fast shipping. Iâm just glad Mom in law wasnât hurt when the end snapped off. I am not happy with this in any way and have processed a return

Like everything about. Comforting to know it is available in case of an emergency for myself or to assist someone else. Fits the door jam hook securely, comfort to my hand and very stron to support weight even though I am not a large person it will easily support one who is or make a u stable person feel more in control. Excellent items. The 2nd one will be a gift. Excellent price.

Loved the product and ordered it the day I was seeing it for the first time.For my husbandThe next day I was showing it to my patient whom I was transporting to PT. As he leaned on it to get up, the front black part came off and it appears the plastic inside has torn. It was the second time it was tried out.My husband is only 160 lbs.My patient is 220 lbs.so I guess thereâs a weight maximumHowever the plastic that tore, does seem a bit weak and thin.Still love the gadget!
