Works great!
I just had a hip replacement, and the doctor recommended I purchase a leg lifter. When I first came home, I couldn’t understand how I was going to get this on my foot. It was one of the best purchases I made. The opening to put your foot in is large enough, making it easy to get around your foot. I was able to lift my leg without any problem. This leg lifter made my recuperation much easier. I highly recommend it.

Great Tool – Lifts Me Up
I am recovering from bilateral quad rupture repairs. That’s right, both legs. This tools enables me to lift and place my legs when getting into or out of bed, wheel chair, or other furniture. It gives me independence since I can get up or down without assistance. The two handles provide a padded and sturdy grip for leverage. It also has a web loop on the end which I use to slip around my wrist to keep it handy when I am using my hands to boost myself into a better position to get into/out of a chair, etc. It has a malleable wire spine which keeps it straight when you need to extend it to loop the stirrup onto the foot and which you can bend into a hook to hang over a walker or railing. I’ve also used it as a crook to pull the walker or other object closer to where I can use it. Very well made and very functional. I highly recommend it.

Miracle tool for post surgery
Awesome! I had no idea what dead weight my leg would be after having hip surgery during the initial recovery phase, this was a lifesaver to help me get my leg up and into bed. Highly recommended it itâs compact and folds up and they send you a bag to store it in. Wynn.

Triangle foot loop made of steel rod very hard on bare foot.
Useful tool but needs improvement.Triangle foot loop hard like a rock. It is painful to use it on bare foot. I made improvement by puttng Polyethylene Foam Semi-Split Pipe Insulation tube over it and gluing it so it stays together

What a wonderful invention ! I don’t know how I ever managed without it. The metal rod didn’t work well but I was handy enough to use my ingenuity to reinforce it. It serves my purpose and it is always put to work.

Bendable backbone is troublesome
The backbone of this leg lifter is bendable for ease of storage and transport. While this feature has its benefits it makes it difficult to get your foot in the stirrup when in a reclined position. Otherwise it does it job well and is sturdy. I would have preferred a ridged backbone.
