Perfect for single portions.
They are smaller than we may be familiar with, from restaurants etc. but, when I froze food in the larger containers, I would divide them in half so I didnât have to defrost a large container of food for one person and then end up with a bunch of half empty containers taking up room in my freezer. These are not for storing family size portions but are just perfect for single size. Straight from the freezer into the microwave.The quality is very good, easy to clean and like all containers made from this type of plastic, if they fall out of your freezer, they crack. Thatâs my fault. I really like these containers.

I love these containers! Perfect size for just a regular meal. I mainly use them for meal preps during the week and it just works perfectly for me. Definitely a small portion but especially great if you are working towards more regular portioned meals instead of the Standard American Diet portions. Freezes, Microwaves and travels well! Yes the top lid or 2 came cracked but there are 50 containers I just recycled those few tops. Shipping and handling causes damage nothing I was concerned about these containers hold up well in regular day to day use.

Overall 4 stars, PROS: cleans and heats well, works good in freezer, Stacks nice, good seal, CONS: 24 oz is to small, barely holds a can of soup, order the 28, 32 or 40 oz, plastic bowl is too flimsy when filled with liquid, a thicker bowl would cost more but increase versatility. I will buy a 32 oz round bowl with lid if they offer it for sale. So far can’t find it…

Perfect for lunch!
I like these so much that this is my third purchase.While the size looks small, it’s a perfect lunch portion. I’ve bought larger ones, but these get used the most.They freeze well, are leak proof, go straight into the microwave and run through the top rack of the dishwasher.The price is reasonable. I use them for lunch and, if the housekeeper at work throws them out, it’s OK – it only costs me 46 cents. If they run it through the dishwasher, I can later take it home and reuse. I win either way. And I never have the hassle of carting dirty (smelly) glass dishes home. Because they are fully recyclable (5), I feel OK using them in lieu of glass.I’m single. When I cook on the weekends, I’ll eat one portion for dinner and pack the remainder into these containers. I can still enjoy cooking without having to eat the same thing for 5 days straight (no fun).I tag these with removable labels (dish description and date) and freeze. So, at all times, I have a freezer full of different home-cooked meals.I take these for lunch and it’s healthier than commercial freezer meals and so cost effective! A single lady’s dream.

Perfect small containers!
First off, the caveat. They are disposable (obviously because they aren’t glass) after a while of use and they don’t have a steam hole or anything (my expectations). Beyond that, these are BEYOND fantastic. The 12oz are perfect for segmenting your meals out. For instance, just today I went to Chipolte and I was able to fit two bowls into barely four of these bowls.Another thing, there are 50 of them. So I put some in the garage in a large container and then just brought out 10 at a time. I still have 20 in the garage and using like 15.I also use them for cooking when you have to have like 8 ingredients. I simply lay them out and use them for cooking too.So they are “perfect” for many things. Including storage. The lids are tight and lock on really well. So well in fact that the containers that were ruined (a few) was because I tried to rip the lids off the wrong way. I buy a lot from Amazon and rarely review but these deserve it. Couldn’t be happier.

I saw the 1200 + 4.6 star review and was sold but what a mistake. I am only 50+ and I am a strong woman but these containers are too hard to open. I bought them for my disabled mother as she can’t carry anything heavy and thought this was a good idea. I was so wrong even I cant open the lids. I tried and everything fell on the cupboard and floor. A waste of money.
