Mylar blankets
I bought the multi-pack so I could keep one in the glove compartment of my vehicles, my backpack when hiking, and in my carry-on bag when traveling. I had a very uncomfortable freezing cold long air flight where I was miserably cold for 9 hours. When I read that these blankets retain your body heat, I decided I will pack a couple when I travel. I wish I had them available to wrap myself in on that miserable flight. They are also nice to have when you go somewhere and the seats are wet, you need to sit on the ground, or in an emergency. For the price, they are handy to keep in 1st aid kits, cars, diaper bags, etc.

Excellent for a growing rack
Stronger than expected. I wrapped the blanket around a wire rack that I have plants growing on to reflect the light from the grow lights. I have been especially impressed with how well it has held up regardless of how many times I have taken it off the rack and put it back on. Works great!

Although low cost, I have used these many times for things like covering the back seat when someone or thing is wet. Have not used them in an emergency but it is nice to have a cheap disposable blanket in the glove-box when needed. Small and compact. Will order again when these run out.

A Necessity for Desert Hiking Emergency Packs
Luckily I have not needed to use them as of yet, but as we do quite a bit of hiking in the desert, these can be a life saver, literally. I now carry 2 in each pack as well as a couple in each car. Never know when an emergency might happen. These can be used for warmth, but more importantly in AZ, to provide shade.
