Really thankful that I bought this before my surgery. All of the items were used and very helpful. I wish I had bought this sooner, as it would have helped with my two bone on bone hips, to navigate my world.

Only about half the items are really useful to me so the rest will just be added to the clutter of unused stuff. Not the best made products but in a pinch they can be helpful.

Pretty good kit
These kit of assistant products works extremely well. The sock installer helps people with the inability to bend over, but it didnât really work that great. The shoe horn works nice as itâs extremely long. The door handle assist for the door does help. I like this is a one shop stop of tools needed for people recovering from back and hip issues.

This kit works well. It is easy to use but the kit could benefit from instructions as some things arenât intuitive. They have really helped my dad who just had a hip replacement.

I found it very helpful in assistance and it included everything needed, from a reacher grabber to a sock aid and leg lifter, making my daily tasks much easier. I am very happy and it’s definitely a helpful set for mobility and independence.

Great yet not all items ideal
7 items in this hip kit: a combination shoe horn/ dressing stick, a long handled bath brush, a folded reacher, a plastic sock aide, a car handle < sticks in door frame to improve getting in and out of a vehicle>, a leg lifter, a telescoping back scratcher.The price of this at about $36 is fantastic for all the items. However, as an occupational therapist of many years, I will be honest in saying some items may not be ideal for universal use in recovering from hip surgery and other situations that might necessitate using such devmost.The items arrive in a box with no directions so might be confusing to one who is unfamiliar with said items. On the plus side, items are well packaged.The leg lifter is good quality and will work for most. It arrives folded and must be bent to its working position.The reacher is foldable and can be used in two different positions by twisting/ rotating the end.Sock aide is good quality though some people might need a different type of sockaide ( ie a softer sock aide or a sock aide specifically designed for compression hose).The long brush is not that long but does have soft bristles and the handle is slightly curved. Some individuals might need a longer brush or one with more curve or other features. As the brush is just about 14 inches long < have not measured it yet>, it will still be too short for some users to reach their feet!Suggestion: securely dictionary tape thr brush to the shoe horn. The show horn/ dressing stick is quite long, at approximately 36 inches long so is most suitable for a taller individual. Note that the shoe horn comes in 3 sections, howver, the push pin in a tad hard to use and does not appear string enough to withstand frequent taking it apart ( which could be done to improve wade of use for shorter people). There was also a metal pin on each end of the middle portion of the shoe horn/ dressing stick. One pin fell out and I could not get it to return to it’s position.Not withstanding the shoehirn/ dressing stick being long, this kit is overall a great price for what you get, ie if you were going to purchase items individually.3 stars since the show horn/ dressing stick is more cumbersome, not as user friendly, think plastic might not hold up.PS love the addition of a car handle…a first for this type of hip kit! So even if you need to purchase a different type of sock aide or find another type of recherche helpful for select tasks, overall this is a good starter kit for post hip surgery rgery recovery.
