Accurate & nice features
Accurate! Works fast, super easy to use. Love the user feature where you can select between 1-4 individuals and it stores your historical readings for each user, super useful if you need to monitor more than one personâs BP.

A nice, accurate blood pressure monitor
I’ve owned a number of BP meters, some with fancy features like voice output and Bluetooth, but this meter is my favorite. It has just the right combination of features and is very easy to use even though it doesn’t have some of the bells and whistles from my other meters. The unit comes with an AC adapter, but I have used batteries exclusively because it make it more portable for me. The cuff is large enough for my frame and has plenty of room for even larger arms. Detecting arrhythmia (AFIB) is another feature of this meter. The first thing that I did was to take this to my doctor and have the nurse check the accuracy of the unit. The readings were within 1 or 2 points from the ones that the nurse obtained with a stethoscope. She told me this meter was very accurate and that slight variations can occur between readings.I really like how the unit inflates the cuff. Unlike some of my other meters that feel like a professional wrestler is squeezing your arm, this meter has a less aggressive inflation profile. The meter starts off inflating the cuff slowly and then switches to a faster inflation rate until the proper inflation is reached. All meters have to assert pressure, but this one seems to be able to zero in on just the right amount to obtain an accurate reading. I have never had it inflate, pause, and then crank up the pressure or start over like some of my other meters. The meter can track up to 60 measurements for each of four users. Accessing the memory confused me at first. When displaying the memory, the first reading is an average of the memories stored for the user. I like this. However, when I pressed the up and down arrows, I was greeted with a “No. xx” where “xx” is the memory number. I thought that there wasn’t a reading for the memory since I didn’t notice the period, so I went to the next one.My only complaint is when using the up and down arrows, the “No. xx” message is displayed and then you have to wait three seconds for the actual reading to be displayed. That is very annoying especially when you want to step through multiple readings. A better solution would have been to display the memory number while an arrow key was depressed and then immediately display the reading when the button was released. Still, this is not that big of a deal for me since I usually only want to reference the most recent readings. But perhaps in their next version…All in all, I am enjoying this very nice BP meter.

WORKS GREAT
WORKS MUCH BETTER THAN MY OLD ONE WHICH HAD A VERY RIGID ARM CUFF. EASY TO PUT ON AND ADJUST TO MY ARM DIAMETER. SEEMS TO BE FAST AND ACCURATE.

Very nice, no frills monitor but I did not like the cuff
Buying a blood pressure monitor turned out to be a lot more complicated than I expected. I ended up buying three models before deciding which one was right for me. The ones I purchased were:- Omron 10 (BP786N)- Withings Wireless Blood Pressure Monitor- A&D UA-767FI initially purchased the Omron, but it had inaccurate diastolic readings, so I purchased the Withings. However although the Withings was very accurate, it had other issues, so I purchased the A&D, but it had inaccurate systolic readings and a cuff I disliked, so I returned it and decided to keep the Withings. However the Withings stopped working on the 27th day. It resumed working the next day, but I no longer trusted it, so I returned it and am using a replacement Omron 10 in its place.I tested these blood pressure monitors rigorously, being careful to use proper techniques and recording all results in a spreadsheet. I was impressed that the Withings had the most consistent and I believe accurate results. I did not have the opportunity to take it to my doctorâs office, but I tested against five other home monitors: my old Omron 3, which has been regularly validated at my doctorâs office, a LifeSource ( A&D) UA-767 at the Kaiser Permanente Education Office in San Rafael, CA, two Omron 10âs, and the A&D I returned.Compared with the Omron and Withings, this A&D BPM is basic and no-fills, but impressive. Itâs also the cheapest, selling (as of February 2017) for $15 less than the Omron and $50 less than the Withings. It doesnât pretend to have Bluetooth connectivity. Itâs what I wanted originally, but after my problems with the Omron and Withings, I decided that Bluetooth for Android BPMâs is more of a hassle at present than itâs worth. Its accuracy would have been on a par with the Withings and maybe a little better if it hadn’t been for a defect that caused it occasionally to report systolic readings that were at least 10 points too low. I tested it repeatedly, trying to eliminate the possibility that I was doing something incorrectly (Iâve been measuring my blood pressure every day for six years, so I have experience at it). I finally reluctantly decided to return it.Before deciding to return it, I tried contacting A&D several times about the systolic errors, but the contact form on the A&D website always crashed, giving me an SQL syntax error. Its data averaging is not as automatic as the others, but is more flexible. The Omron and Withings allow you to average three measurements. Itâs totally automatic, You press the button and it does three readings. The A&D requires that you manually start each reading and to time the interval between readings yourself. However the advantage is that you can average as many readings as you want, up to 60. It averages all readings in memory, so if you want to average only the current ones, you need to delete all previous readings from memory. If you record your readings ina spreadsheet like I do, this is not a problem. One things I strongly disliked about the A&D is the cuff. The Omron and WIthings cuffs are superior. The A&D is very long andt I found more difficult to use than any of the cuffs on the two previous blood pressure monitors that Iâve owned as well as the Omron and Withings. If I ever buy the A&D, Iâll buy a medium cuff for it (approximately $20).One other thing I like about the A&D: itâs the only one of the three monitors that had all the information I needed to know contained in a single manual, which was included both in printed form with the manual and available for download. The A&D is the only one that comes with a carrying case. It seemed to be pretty decent quality.Overall the A&D impressed me. If the one I bought did not have a defect that causes random systolic reading errors, Iâd have kept it and ordered a different cuff.

If You Had a LifeSource Monitor In The Past….
Replaced my LifeSource Monitor, which was provided by my doctor’s office over a decade ago and has served me well. It appeared not to be working last week after being reliable and dependable all that time. I found that A&D are now producing the same monitor (only slightly different controls and added convenience of keeping multiple user stats…). Worked just fine out of the box, and, whaddya know? I now have two easily functioning working blood pressure monitors.Good products

I bought this for my elderly father to help monitor his blood pressure. I set it up for him and left it with him to use on an ongoing basis. The displays are clear and big enough to make them user friendly for the older generation and there is a good range of functionality if you want to use it for other members of your family or friends. I’m not sure Dad will be able to cope with reviewing historical results or enabling a friend to use it too, but we’ll see and this is not a reflection on the machine! I’ve given it 5 stars as I think it is good quality and I had confidence it would do what is required if properly used.

The title of my review says it all. This unit has proven to do exactly what it says on the box. It is reliable, consistent, accurate and easy to use. The feature of separate memories for up to 4 users is great but the person number indicator is too small for mum and dad.GOOD:-reliable & accurate-easy to use-good cuff size accommodating most people-compact-great value for money compared to comparable unitsNEEDED IMPROVEMENTS:-Could really benefit from a longer hose-User indicator should be bigger considering many users will tend to be older with not the greatest eyesight-Would be nice to have the power adapter as standard inclusion or even built into the unit
