Cool design and much cheaper than other styles
I really like this set because it’s got a cool color scheme reminiscent of X-Men (especially with 97 coming out now), and it’s quite easy to change the weights for. I assume the more expensive ones have an easier (un)locking mechanism, but this one isn’t hard at all, just takes like 3 seconds more to do. It doesn’t feel cheap, which is good because it’s not cheap to purchase, but it’s also not as expensive as other adjustable weights, which can be like twice as much for the same price. Super customizable and the design (shape and color) are pretty cool, so I enjoy working out at home with this set!

Easy to Use
Iâm in love with these things, they arenât over the top quality wise, but still just as useful as a $200 set. The grip isnât as hardcore as Iâd like, but for the price, youâre getting a good deal. The weights come off and attach extremely fluidly and easily. They arenât super durable, so donât slam them or drop them down on concrete but they are comfortable to use as an at home set.

I bought these so I could have one set of dumbbells for both Pilates and weight lifting. Long story short, I would not recommend these and I am sending them back after 1.5 workouts (yes, I put them away halfway through, thatâs how bad they were).Pros: Very easy to switch out the weights with one hand, exactly as advertised. I put them on my bathroom scale, and the weight of each piece was accurate. Arrived quickly and well packaged, although I did need to tighten all screws before use.Cons: The plastic is extremely cheap. They make a creaking noise with all movement (this is not the individual weights sliding around, but the handle itself). There is no way I would use these as push-up bars and I was scared when holding them over my face. The handle is smooth and gets slippery when I start to sweat. The weights are huge! I know they listed the dimensions, but you donât really appreciate it until you start working with them. With all weights attached, they are too long, twice the length of my traditional five pound dumbbell. This becomes a problem with certain exercises (for example, canât do an upright row with good form). With all weights off, they are still too bulky, so large, quick Pilates movements become cumbersome. They are too wide, making two handed single dumbbell exercises impossible for someone with small hands. The edges are sharp and cut into my yoga mat. Although the idea of having such a wide variety of weights sounds appealing, they take up more space than my traditional dumbbell set. Oh, and they are extremely static-y, attracting all hair and dust bunnies (not a deal breaker, but just one more flaw).All in all, good idea, but cheaply made and could not be used in the way I wanted.
