My Search Is Over =)
This deodorant actually works! At last my search for an effective aluminum-free deodorant is over. I’ve tried deodorant that just did not control the odor, deodorant that did not spread well, deodorant with essential oils too harsh to be safe for long term use, baking soda deodorant which caused bad irritation over time. (Side Note: Baking soda is terrible for skin and hair! The high pH is just brutal. Stay away, there are so many safer natural options).Enter Bali Secrets…Baking soda-free, aluminum-free, and effective! It’s easy to apply and lasts all day on most days. And now there is an unscented version that is completely free of essential oils! Which solves the only problem I had with the original formula: I did not like the scent and I am not comfortable using essential oils daily on the same skin because of the risk of sensitization.Thank you Bali Secrets for a creating safe and effective deodorant. =)ââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââTo those who are worried about potassium alum. Yes it is an aluminum salt but it is not the same as the aluminum used in traditional deodorant. The EWG rates it a 1 on their safety scale. I have also read that the molecule is larger than the aluminum used traditional deodorants and is too large to be absorbed through the skin.I am not sure what I think of the EWG and the Skin Deep Database. I am concerned that they may be breeding irrational fears and unnecessarily demonizing ingredients and companies. A balanced scientist I respect has pointed out that many of their rankings are based on animal studies, in vitro studies and studies that used exceedingly high doses of a single ingredient. That is not how these ingredients are found in cosmetics. Not to mention many natural substances would also be toxic if studied at such high doses.All that to say if the EWG rates potassium alum as a 1, I feel very confident that the ingredient is safe. Given their extreme safety criteria, I see no reason to question it’s safety. Bear in mind I am not a scientist of any kind. Just a consumer who enjoys reading about skincare.

Totally hooked and smelling good!
11 years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a bilateral mastectomy. I should never have had cancer!! I am a healthy eater, nursed 4 children, exercise daily, didn’t have a strong family history of cancer, and do not smoke. Imagine my surprise when my breast surgeon told me that only 10% of breast cancer is hereditary and 90% is environmental. I erroneously thought environmental meant chemicals we are exposed to in the air, never considering the foods or health products we consume and use on a daily basis. Thankfully my children read and educate themselves about the benefits of natural and organic onesSeveral years ago, my daughters advised me to switch my deodorant to one that did not contain aluminum as research was showing it’s harmful effects. (All of the leading brands contain it.) I finally purchased Tom’s of Maine Natural Antiperspirant and Deodorant in lavender. It smelled so good in the package, but turned to a really sour BO smell on me within hours and I was sweating profusely. (I am generally not a sweater.) I used it for 2 weeks with the same results and then stopped. I tried it again weeks later with the same results, but ended up filing it in the trashcan. I tried other brands but never was able to find one that worked consistently. About 2 months ago, my oldest son introduced me to Bali Secrets. He and his wife have made the switch over to natural and organic products and have been introducing me to them. I never realized before how many harmful chemicals are in the products we use and foods we consume on a daily basis.I was shocked!I am totally hooked on Bali Secrets Natural Deodorant!! My son told me that I may experience some BO as my body sweated out the chemicals in my system. I never had that happen although my pits had a very strong flowery scent to them for about 7 days. The amazing thing is that I have not been sweating at all since I started using Bali Secrets! My one hesitation in buying Bali was that it was not listed as an antiperspirant. I had previously never been able to find a deodorant that totally eliminated any BO smell or sweating for an entire day until I found Bali Secrets. I apply it once in the morning after my shower and have the cleanest, freshest scent to my body all day long.I am learning much about the healthy benefits of plants, minerals, and essential oils and am making the switch over to foods and products that will keep me healthy the rest of my life. Sad that it has taken this long for me to become more aware. It was too easy to get cancer before and my goal is to prevent it from occurring again by consuming and using products that are helpful and not harmful to the human body. I am so grateful to Bali Secrets for creating a product that not only works but that is beneficial to me in more ways than one. An added bonus is the price and longevity of the product. My former deodorants only lasted about 4 weeks. While Bali Secrets may cost more up front, the true savings comes from how long it lasts. They mean it when they say “a little goes a long way”. Great for “Smelly” Women
I have been using this for about two years and have it on autoship every other month. It lasts me about two months, with one to two applications a day. I apply it in the morning about 10am and it lasts even when I go to the gym about 10/11pm. If I use another application, it’s due to me showering in the middle of the day, or applying it at night after a shower.The first application when you open it will be SLIGHTLY runny, but then it’s just fine after the first use.It does not leave any stains. It doesn’t really have a smell, which is great for my migraines. I like not having “perfumed” deodorants.I have not had any break-outs on my sensitive skin in the two years I have been using it.I don’t think this product has ever been out of stock, either, during my autoships.Also, I used to think “liquid” deodorants were weird and thought they needed, like, a dry time or not even work, but it’s nothing like that. It takes like maybe 3 seconds to dry, and it doesn’t get flaky and you can’t even see it. The second you put it on, it feels sort of wet, like you got out of the shower and it’s damp, but not in a dripping off the skin wet. You’ll get used to it, believe me.PS- I am a “smelly” woman that used to use men’s deodorant because no women’s ones worked well. Also, I did not want any aluminum or other chemicals in my deo, and “natural” ones similar to this, but solid, would make me have to reapply almost every hour because I am a naturally sweaty person with BO haha.

Iâve been using it for a month now and it was working perfectly, but for some reason nowadays it doesnât work at all and only lasts for maximum 5 hours and then it leave a very awful stench to the point that I donât want to use it anymore.

I’ve been searching for a natural deodorant that works for years! I think I tried all of them. I kept getting disappointed because they either didn’t work or gave me a rash. Most natural deodorant are based on baking soda and oil (YUK!) they make your armpits dark and irritated. NOT THIS ONE! It lasts me all day long, smells great and doesn’t stain my clothes with oily mess. I am not sure how they pulled it off, but this deodorant is a real miracle! So happy I’ve found it! I’ll be ordering some more for my sister and cousin.

I really like these deodorants. Theyâre long lasting and smell amazing. I like that a little goes a long way and my armpits donât feel wet when theyâre put on unlike other roll ons. I originally got the rose one so Iâm trying the sandalwood but if itâs like the rose one it will be one very happy purchase.
