Works well, great value. Bite valve could be better.
I bought this pack as a cheap one for music festivals, but it has become my go-to for short trips, including hiking and paddleboarding. It is just the right size, has convenient enough pockets, and is very comfortable, especially with its mesh shoulder straps.The bladder is not as convenient to fill as some higher-priced variants, but it works perfectly and never leaks.The bite valve does leave a bit to be desired, as it leaks a bit when left in the open position. I replaced mine with an Osprey for five bucks, and still consider it an excellent value. The original mouthpiece can still be used, you will just want to close it in between uses if you don’t want it dripping on your shirt.

Exactly as described! The mesh straps are a lot more comfortable than I thought they would be. Plenty of room in both zippered pockets. The water bag doesn’t have any plastic flavor. I’m very happy with this purchase!

The bag itself is nice I just wish the hole where you put the water in was a little bigger so we could fit some ice cubes inside to keep the water cooler . Other than itâs good I would buy again .

Great hiking backpack for kids!
My niece loved my own hiking backpack when I visited her last so I wanted to get her one of her own. Her favorite part was the hydration pack with the straw.On the recommendation of a friend I purchased this for my niece and it was perfect. She is 9 and it was easy for her to carry even with the water in it. She was able to fit snacks and even had her game boy switch in it for the car rides. My daughter and my niece would take turns carrying it and it fit both of them easily.

Piece of junk!
I loved this pack when it arrived. We were packing up to go hiking and rowing so it was perfect timing. The pack was just big enough to hold my phone and keys, some snacks, a bottle of sunscreen, and extra clothes for my toddler. I rinsed out the water bladder (which arrived with water in the line?) and filled it. It didnât seem to have any leakage, but thatâs where the positive traits stop. The bag definitely leached chemicals into the water and I could not drink it. Not only did it taste like plastic, I knew it would be full of endocrine disrupters that I cannot expose myself to as a person with an autoimmune condition.Next, the pack started falling apart almost immediately. It sat in a rowboat for an hour, and then I wore it on my back hiking for an hour. And when I got in the car, it was frayed in 2 spots and had a hole in the bottom! And you can see where the stitching isnât even properly placed in some spots. Not cool. I am so disappointed. I hope I can return it despite being used for 2 hours because it is totally unusable and poorly made.

Super good and stays cool for really long, I wish there was a kit to clean it though
I had it for about two months before the inside of the straw/drinker started turning black, and I couldnât find anything to clean it with. It was really good before though, enough ice kept it cool for a good 4-5 hours.
