Absolutely Reliable and User-Friendly!
I recently purchased this blood pressure monitor and couldn’t be more satisfied. The inclusion of two cuff sizes—standard (9–17″) and extra-large (13–21″)—ensures a comfortable fit for various arm sizes, making it perfect for both me and my partner. The large, backlit LCD screen is incredibly easy to read, even in low-light conditions. Operating the device is straightforward with its one-button functionality, and the readings are quick and consistent. I appreciate the dual power options: it works seamlessly with both AAA batteries and a USB cable, adding to its convenience. The monitor also stores up to 180 readings for two users, allowing us to track our blood pressure over time effectively. I’d give it a 5-Star Review, but…
It didn’t have a users manual included. I searched on line, but I couldn’t find the manual on line anywhere. I looked all over on line, and came up with nothing. I figured out how to change between patient one and two, but if you can set the time or date on this monitor, which I’m beginning to doubt, then I haven’t been able to figure out how. I’m a former MD, so it’s not like I don’t have some history in using medical equipment.OTHERWISE, this is a dream unit to operate. My wife is a critical care RN, and I had her check my BP before I had the machine take it, and it seems to be very accurate. It’s easy to put on and take off. I wish it would time and date the readings, but otherwise it works great. I guess a small notebook to go with it would be cheaper than buying a new unit that has the time and date capacity, but I like the way that this one works.I used to play D-1 College Football (American) in my younger days, and I have upper arms like tree trunks. As a result I’ve had trouble getting a cuff that would give an accurate reading, or was easy to use in the past. This unit, with the XL-Cuff, works great on me. Just don’t start out with the cuff tightened too tight around your arm. If you do the inner bladder can, and will, herniate around the Velcro cuff cover. Besides that, it’s all golden. I’ve been using this unit for the last two weeks, and it works like a champ for me.

Quite accurate

Comparing it with readings taken at my doctor’s office showed minimal variance. It has an adjustable cuff that fits a range of arm sizes, which contributes to its accuracy.

The arm cuff is horrible
The device seemed to be well built and I liked the display, but the arm cuff was horrible. It has so much velcro on it that it makes it hard for a person to apply it to themselves w/o help. I wish I could find a cuff that doesn’t use velcro at all. B/c of the difficulty of fitting the cuff, even when I thought I had it on correctly I got more error messages than actual readings. I’m not sure if this is a fault of the device or the ill fitting cuff, but it would pump the pressure WAY too high (well over 200). So high I had to abort the reading a couple times. Would not recommend for someone who is using this alone.
