My test proved that this air fryer beat my little convection oven by a mile!
I have a small convection oven that I thought would do about the same as an air fryer. I kept hearing how these machines get foods really CRUNCHY and that is my favorite thing in food! So I looked at the reviews and decided on this unit. I did a comparison between roasting chicken wings in my convection oven and in this air fryer at the same temp, 400 degrees, and the same amount of time (can’t remember what it ended up taking). There was NO comparison. The air fryer made the chicken wings incredibly crunchy where the convection oven cooked them but they looked kind of white, not browned. I live by myself so think I will use this often for roasting vegetables, too. Oh, the clean-up is really easy, too, just be sure to not let it sit. Rinse the grate in the bottom right away to remove food particles.

Well worth the money
I wanted something that would keep my food from coming in contact with plastic. This glass base with the metal tray is perfect. It does a great job of cooking meat. I put off getting an air fryer for ages because of all the plastic, and I had heard they sometimes dry out meat. I have to say, this is fantastic. I use it every day.

Glass base airfryer
This is not sponsoredThis airfryer is awesome. I was looking for one that did not have the coatings that are really not safe for us and I found this one. I love it and I bought 2 more for my daughter and son. My daughterâs old air fryer had a chemical smell that would not go away and sometimes her food had the chemical taste. We all Love this Boswell airfryer.

Great Alternative to the Traditional Air Fryer
Overall, a good air fryer with a “safe” alternative to plastics/non-stick coatings.The glass “basket” with the stainless steel insert are a good alternative to traditional air fryer material.I have noticed it takes about 25% more time to cook foods (specifically fries) than a traditional air fryer. Not sure if that is because it’s glass or some other reason.Almost a month into owning, the glass basket did break in half.Amazon is sending a replacement.
