Amazing – Efficient – Squeezes To The Last Drop!
    Packaging – Rating: 5/5
Arrived delicately packaged and easy to open. Everything was safely packaged, so there were no moving parts. No damages.
Parts and Assembly – Rating: 5/5
Everything looks crisp and new. The user manual was very friendly and easy to understand. The locking bar to keep it closed is very sturdy so it cannot be jarred loose. Very easy to assemble, even without reading the manual. It had several warnings, including care to keep it working for a long time. It is a much more compact juicer than what my friends all got, and it works just as efficiently.
    Operations – Rating: 5/5
It is very user friendly; the user manual says what you can toss in there and what needs to be peeled/de-pitted. After it is assembled, you lock it with the metal bar that keeps the top securely placed. Then you turn it on, and you can start putting the prepared fruit in it. It efficiently and effectly removes the juice using a centrifuge system. It will spin the center squeezing out all of the juice and tossing the discarded de-juiced solid items to the side of it. I’ve tried various fruits and vegitables (apples, pineapple, tomatoes, carrots, spinach, kale, lemons, etc), and after it juices I’ve checked the discard and it is very dry. I have eaten the dejuiced items, and they are still very tasty, but the juice is the best.
    End Result – Rating: 5/5
The juice is just fantastic. It really gets a lot of juice out of the fruits and vegitables. I was surprised that carrot juice tasted nothing like carrots. It keeps 99.9% of the bits out of the juice.
    Cleaning – Rating: 5/5
Many items are dishwasher safe, but the majority of the items you can just rinse out. Cleaning is very easy and fast. It came with a scrubbing wand for the mesh centrifuge, which cleans it very easy and fast. Using various fruits can slightly stain the plastic cup that comes with it, but that is to be expected like using a porcelain cup for coffee and getting the brown ring.
    Overall – Rating: 5/5
Fantastic! I highly recommend this product. I am very happy that I got this juicer.

Breville BJE200XL – Review from a “Junior” Juicer
Due to our health issues and a desire to be more fit and healthy, the hubby and I have started juicing for our meal supplement (instead of drinking all that diet goop that has an ingredient list that requires a bio-chem degree just to decipher). We reviewed several highly recommended models, but we didn’t want to spend $$$. Finally, I landed on the Breville BJE200XL.
This thing is impressive for the money. Though considered to be a lower-end model, the juicer arrived in very good time, and professionally packaged (nice touch). We took it right out of the box and, without having to read any instructions, put it together and had it working in about 15 minutes – yet another high mark.
Of course, the big test is – how does this thing juice? WONDERFULLY. I watched as my husband was able to knock out a stack of carrots very quickly, resulting in a good half-gallon of juice. The beets took a little more work (I strongly recommend using a peeler to shave those, as the skin can make the juice grainy and bitter). The wide mouth of this juicer came in VERY handy with the beets and apples; he was able to drop in some of those WHOLE without a bunch of slicing. In other words, this juicer seriously cut down on the prep work, and made our juicing time far more efficient.
And then there’s clean up – which was a real pain with our tiny, inherited (and old) Juiceman juicer. With the Breville, all we had to do is unseat the main trap and empty it. The juicer even comes with a brush to clean out the steel blade bucket, but with a good sponge and some care, it really wasn’t necessary. We instead use the included brush to scrub our veggies and fruits before juicing. If I still had my garden, the pulp leftovers would make GREAT compost material (hmm… garden… maybe I should put that on my “to do” list…)
A quick word about the pulp – this is a centrifugal juicer, not a masticating juicer. That means (as I learned doing my research as a good lil’ noob) there will be some solid/pulp matter left over. Some purists seem to complain about the left-over pulp, that this is leaving behind a LOT of the “good stuff”, etc. However, I can tell you that the solid matter left behind from the juicing process was VERY dry. I actually tried to eat a little carrot remnant, and I had to drink water just to get it down – it was THAT dry (and it means that about as much juice as possible was extracted). Of course, it would be GREAT to use every bit; then again, as I mentioned at the beginning, the masticating machines cost significantly more than this Breville, and I don’t see anybody willing to donate one to me. 😉
Powerful, fast, easy cleanup – all of this means that we juice without a second thought, because we don’t need hours of time to do it. And it also means that this does not become yet another product that, after a couple of uses, sits abandoned in a corner somewhere.
Bottom line – for the $99 price (when I purchased this), this machine is a steal. If there is one better in this price range, feel free to recommend it, because I haven’t found one yet.
FOOTNOTE: For those of you who wonder just how effective juicing is for health – hubby just had a recent checkup. After juicing for only about two months or so, no more blood pressure or sugar issues, he’s off all medication, and 30 lbs gone. HURRAY!

Very Powerful “little” machine, the feed tube is somewhat narrower than perceived, so most items need to be cut.
The juice extracted is smooth and free from any pulp, delivers consistently good results, the only drawback is that the pulp is a little moist at times but I’m just a casual juice drinker so that doesn’t really bother me. So far, its tackled everything that I’ve thrown at it.
Practicality, this is truly compact, I had my reservations but it breaks down easily, very easy to clean and doesn’t take up too much counter space.
In brief, this is an excellent juicer, easy to operate, clean and extremely powerful. Only wish I’d bought it sooner.

I love this machine. I had it when I lived in North America. Unfortunately, Breville has not adapted it to our european electricity. Also, it costs about 80 US dollars in America. In Europe, it should not cost more than about 80 euros… If ever it is offered adapted to our electricity and at a reasonable price, I would definitely recommend it!

This is my first juicer, but I already have a feeling that I will have it for a while! I bought this juicer before I watched the documentary “fat, sick and nearly dead,” so I was pleasantly surprised to see that they featured this juicer in the documentary. I ordered the Jucing Bible with it, as well, to give me the ins and outs, considering I am a juicing newbie.
When I first received the juicer, I was pretty confused at what to do, but the instructions were super simple and within 10 mins, I had my first juice! So delish. I was surprised at how quiet this machine was, I was expecting a loud buzzing, almost like a blender, but this juicer has a quiet, low buzz that doesn’t disrupt my boyfriend or neighbours when I make my morning juice. Phew 🙂
I read a few negative things about cleaning the machine, but I find it suppper easy! It’s honestly a breeze to clean it and put it back together. I’m definitely getting into the habit now. Also, if you’re short on time, simply just wash the blade/chopper thing (it even comes with its own brush!).
I’ve only had this product for a few weeks now, but I have nothing bad to say. I love it. It has a lot of cool features, especially the jug that comes with a lid that stops pulp from getting into your juice.
I definitely recommend this juicer 🙂
