A VERY nice machine
I am/we are super happy to have this machine – I’m picky about my machines and this is a good one and at a great price.I researched this purchase better than most because I wasn’t real familliar with these machines or the process. I bought it mostly for my wife but I like having it also. I didn’t think I needed the top of the line Breville at its cost…but this one…I can’t imagine why I would need anything stronger than this one. The other must be for commercial or near commercial use. This machine doesn’t miss a beet (pun & spelling intended) or bog down at all when pushing it pretty hard with carrots or apples or sweet potatoes. Lots of power – about 1.13 HP motor but it needs that kind of horse power/kW to spin the extractor at 13,000 rpm on high speed. That’s what makes it work so well and produce dry tailings. AND it is so well made that it is very quiet even at that speed and working hard.The fit and finish is great, it’s strong and sizable enough to handle bigger pieces of fruit and vegetables – not nearly the amount of prep cutting and so forth I see in the on-line videos of others using smaller machines. Cleaning and assembly is really simple and easy. Three parts – push the clamping bail in place – you’re done. There’s a little catch pail and a pretty good size pitcher – that’s it. Instead of the pitcher, you can substitute a drinking glass or vessle of your choice.So now on the re-conditioned machines when they are available, that’s how I bought and saved on the purchase of the one I bought. Frankly, it’s my preferred way to buy appliances and the like and here’s why. Too, I’ve done it that way for years and with no regrets. Generally “re-conditioned machine” doesn’t mean broken and then repaired and then sold as new although it could. It never means “scratch & dent”. They’re always pristine. So here’s why that’s not a bad deal. Most re-conditioned machines are open box returns from retailers that can’t be sold as “new” so the appliances are returned and a single technician at a single bench takes a close look at every item in the assembly and checks every operating parameter against specs then certifies it and it is sold with a factory guarantee at a pretty steep discount. Here’s my take: do I want one that came flying of the assembly line where they spot-check the throughput (maybe 4:59PM Friday, if you follow my drift) or one that one tech went over every little detail? Just sayin’

Better than a champion, easy to clean
I used Champion juicers for many years, but for celery juice it was a nightmare to use. I decided to take a chance with this centrifugal juicer and it works sooo much faster and no noticible heating of the juice. This was super easy to clean. Came with a cleaning brush. Takes me 20minutes prep to finish instead of 1 to 2 hours that it took with the Champion. This model came brand new in the box no signs of wear or damage

Must Buy, Easy Clean!!
I was told that juicers are difficult to clean, juicing is expensive, that this would be a pain. The experience has been quite different and fantastic with this product. Juicing is fast and easy. This is so easy to clean. I absolutely love this juicer!! One of my favorite products and stays on my kitchen counter for daily use!!

Very powerful convenient juicer
I purchased the refurbished model because I was looking for a quality durable juicer and didn’t want to dip into my life’s savings which will go towards a house someday in order to afford a higher grade juicer which can run into the $600 range. Being a single mother I don’t have a lot of time to make juice but feel it is important as it allows me to keep up my health and avoid the doctor. With this model I can make a lot of juice all at once. I tend to drink a big glass and bottle a few for the fridge to last the next two or three days. I figure even three day old fresh beet juice is better for me than buying a bottle of beet juice in the store. As many have pointed it out isn’t the best for juicing greens but I think this is a little off. It does juice greens, its just that greens don’t really naturally yield a lot of juice,. Yes, the 800 dollar model can yield slightly more green juice and that maybe makes a lot of picky people happy, but even a small amount of green juice mixed with coconut water or with cucumbers added to the recipe, will make you very healthy. A lot of people look at the pulp and are concerned about the waste. Banish this thought– all of those canned vegetables lining the supermarket and grandmas overcooked string beans are the real waste. You can compost the remaining pulp, use it in recipes if you are really thrifty. I just throw it out because that would stretch my stomach and make me gassy. Since I used to juice everything by hand and run it thru a sieve the old fashioned way, I can really appreciate this machine. It reminds me of a mulcher, its noise is a little embarrassing and the plastic reminds me of what you see on a vacuum cleaner. But it makes really good juice for a good price. I think of the juice as a cold vegetable soup–no need to argue with the health benefits of that. A little goes a lot way really. I would recommend this for those with medium to advanced cooking skills as folks with such will appreciate what this machine can accomplish.

Easy to clean and is powerful
Broke my jaw recently in an accident and this juicer is the answer to a bit of variety in my liquid diet. As it was refurbished I was apprehensive about what condition it would in when it came. It looked it was brand new. I would not hesitate to buy another refurbished unit from amazon. It also works well and doesn’t seem all that difficult to clean. A quick rinse and it’s good to go. Although you should clean it immediately.
