The bottle keep water at a little lower than room temperature. I have dropped it a few time and it had nothing more than a scratch. The handle is very comfortable and a perfect size if you have larger hands. It is easy to clean and very nice looking. I bought this because my city water has a very harsh chlorine like taste. With this bottle the taste is almost completely gone, only a small taste left from cleaning.My one and only complain, which is why I am writing this review, is that the bottle nipple (ha ha funny word) started to fall apart. In the last week I have noticed quite a few times that the nipple would have flakes on it and soon discovered that the nipple was peeling. Not a great feeling to have flakes in your water.I don’t know why it is doing this but it is a little concerning as i am auto immune compromised and can’t allow bacteria to glow on my bottles which is why I loved how easy it was to clean this bottle till now.Now with this in mind you can buy nippel replacements. which he makes me love this bottle even more. Even then the replacements can be pretty spendy so I just want to let people know to expect to replace it every 5 to 6 weeks.

Great bottle, uncomfortable straw
Sturdy bottle, water tastes great after the filter, and I love the handle. The only issue I have is that the “straw” is not very flexible, and it’s a bit tough to get my mouth around. I’d prefer a try straw that is bent toward the front of the bottle, for ease of drinking when driving.

Outstanding.
Purchased this bottle in 2023 for a trip to Europe in 2024. Wasn’t sure what the water would be like in the four different countries we were going to. Never had a problem with the taste of water while abroad. Used this bottle the entire three weeks of the trip and never had any problems. I have read on other reviews that the nipple started peeling, but I have not had that happen to me yet and I’ve been using this bottle for well over a year. Yes, the filter has been replaced a few times and I’m really happy that it’s an easy process. If you’re looking to get a water bottle with a filter, this is the one you need to purchase since it is well worth the money.

I donât usually write reviews but this water bottle is awesome. The water bottle is light but carries a good amount of water. The best part is you can refill it and the filter makes the water cleaner and taste great. The filters last roughly two months and you can get filters for cheap on Amazon. For the price itâs worth it. If youâre looking for a good water bottle go for this one.

Little tips – great product
This worked well on my trip to Europe. I drink a lot of water and this unit works as expected. Bottled water in Europe is more expensive than Beer. Working a trade show I need my water. It worked great. One trick if you use it when you fly – before opening the top, unscrew the top from body to release pressure – if not water will come out top. You just have to unscrew it half turn then close it again. Keeps you from getting wet but works great.

Better than ever Brita Water Bottle
Brita did something completely right with this water bottle. With their previous version my number one complaint about it, is that it leaked when tipped upside down. Countless times I had to make sure my backpack was standing up straight, when putting it down, to make sure that my water bottle didnât leak. With this newer version they fixed this issue completely. I shook the water bottle upside for a solid 5min and nothing came out. Then I left it upside in a dry bowl for an hour and again nothing came out.Other smaller issues I had with the previous version is that the mouth piece was kinda hard, it was somewhat difficult to drink from, and it didnât store as much water as I wanted.This ânewer versionâ water bottle has a now very soft satisfying mouth piece, which is much better. And also the mouth piece is just one solid piece of silicon instead of the two piece plastic top with a silicone sleeve. Underneath that sleeve had a lot of built up mildew and other junk. Not with this water bottle, Brita did a great job redesigning the mouth piece.Brita also made this version a lot easier drink from. I can probably drink twice as much water, in the same amount of time, compared to the older version (I did not test this, but you can definitely notice a difference).And then lastly, the previous version stored about 22 oz of water and this version has 26 oz, which is only 4 oz more but it makes a difference and the size of the bottle hardly seems any bigger. I also really like the new sleeker design of this bottle compared to the older one. It feels very modern and simple, which is great. I also enjoy that the straw is now only one detachable piece instead of two. Again, another great decision.If youâve been debating about getting a Brita water bottle, this is the time to get it. This is my third version of Brita water bottle that I have owned. They have made steady improvements with each iteration, but this one is by far the best one yet. They have fixed many issues and did something completely right. This is the Brita water bottle that Iâve been waiting for 8 years.

Iâve been searching for a water bottle with a filter so that I can refill anywhere and have decent tasting water. It fits in car cupholders, looks good and holds enough that you arenât filling up multiple times a day. The draw through the straw filter is perfect. Iâve seen a review that complains about the flip lid bumping the nose when drinking but as straw bottles are designed to be held upright whilst drawing through the mouthpiece (not tilted as with sip bottles) the lid shouldnât be a bother.
