Nice combination of water and storage capacity.
I already had Camelbak with 50 oz capacity, but no extra room for storage. I also have a pretty big daypack with Camelbak water storage, hip belt, etc. This Arete fits between and offers the ability to carry some lunch, snacks, small first aid kit, etc. It has a pretty ingenious system for sliding the chest strap up and down to desired height on chest. The only reason Iâm deducting one star is that the clip for the water hose is on the right side and canât easily be switched to the left side where I prefer it.

High Quality, So Cute, Light weight
I hiked several National Parks with this backpack. It is lightweight (even when full of water), comfortable to wear through all the miles, and very stylish. Even though it is a smaller backpack, there is still a lot of storage room. Perfect for full day trips.

Nice camelbak, go for the 70oz for longer hikes
Love this camelbak! 4 stars because I donât believe I filled it with 50oz and it was full. It seems way shorter than I thought as far as the water capacity. I am thinking of buying the 70oz now. Although, It was perfect for my first hike ever. I donât think I ran out of water until 3 hours in and we hiked for 4 hours. The storage is great, plenty of space for sunscreen, deodorant, lip gloss and some snacks.

Light weight, good personal item carry-on for flights
Used this for some day hikes at Grand Teton National Park, I also used it as my carry-on bag (I also had a hard shell wheely carry on) for the same trip. For the plane it fit 2 light jackets, my 13″ laptop, a Thule toiletries bag, hairbrush and a few other small items. It’s so light weight. I usually take a tote bag onto the plane but this backpack worked great! I also used it hiking and had no issues with the water bladder that fits 1.5L of water. People have said you can buy the 2L bladder and fit it into this bag too.
