Customers say

Customers praise the hydration pack’s storage capacity with its multiple pockets, robust build quality, and comfort. The bag receives positive feedback for its functionality, particularly in high school racing, though some find it unreliable. The water supply and strap quality receive mixed reviews – while many appreciate the easy access to water and magnetic sternum strap, others report issues with filling and find the straps too weak. The size is also mixed, with some finding it perfect while others consider the backpack part too small.

    Nice bag!
This bag is fantastic! More than enough water it holds and the extra pockets and space is great! Well made and high quality feel. On my 10mile MTB ride I was happy to enjoy easy access of water and there was no discomfort with this bag on filled with water and tools and extra jacket/w snacks. Highly recommend for anyone! I find myself drinking water out this bag even after rides haha!

    Festival-Ready Hydration Haven
The CamelBak M.U.L.E. 12 is not just a mountain biker’s companion; it turns out to be a fantastic ally for us festival-goers too. With its 12-liter capacity, it’s compact enough to navigate through crowded spaces yet spacious enough to hold all the essentials alongside a generous 3-liter water reservoir.Filling up the hydration bladder is a breeze thanks to its wide mouth opening, and cleaning post-festival is equally straightforward. The bite valve is a real winner, providing easy access to hydration, which is crucial amidst the festival frenzy. It effortlessly delivers a refreshing flow of water, keeping the party-going spirit high and dehydration at bay.Comfort is where the M.U.L.E. 12 truly shines. The well-padded shoulder straps coupled with a secure chest strap make it a comfortable wear, even through long festival hours. The ventilation on the back panel is a godsend, keeping the sweaty back issue in check as you dance away to the beats. The additional storage compartments come in handy for stashing away festival essentials. There’s ample room for snacks, a light jacket for the chilly evening hours, and even some festival gear. The pockets are well-placed and provide easy access, saving time and hassle in those moments when you just need that one item. The robust build quality means it can endure the wildness of festival adventures, protecting your belongings from both bumps and the elements. It’s a pack built to last, season after season.Though priced on the higher side, the convenience, durability, and comfort it offers make it a worthwhile investment for any festival aficionado. In summation, the CamelBak M.U.L.E. 12 has proven to be a reliable, comfortable, and highly functional hydration pack for our music festival escapades. It’s a purchase that has enhanced our festival experience, ensuring we stay hydrated, comfortable, and well-prepared as we revel in the music and festivities. Highly recommended for anyone looking to up their festival game!

    Perfect Hiking Backpack
This backpack is amazing! It’s the perfect size and fit for me. I recently went hiking out west for days. The weather was warm! The water stayed nice and cool in the reservoir. I was able to drink water while hiking without any disruption. I love the air support back feature. Wearing the backpack feels like I’m wearing a vest. It has multiple pockets, which make it easy to find things.

    Great Day Pack!
My family went on a two week road trip this past June hiking national and state parks through southern Utah and Arizona. We would be out hiking 4+ miles every single day and these packs were great! Holds everything you need and plenty of water being out in the desert. If I had to point out one con, it would be that I wish there was slightly more padding on the straps, but overall not a big deal. Still very comfortable to wear out all day. My 14 year old daughter has the same one in gray and also loved it. Great purchase!

No leakage when you use it right
Solid total space for what this is, can fit down jacket, sunglasses case, goggles, wallet/keys, and a couple other things when needed.I was almost scared off by some reviews that complained about leakage, but seems perfectly tight to me. just reverse the threads until it clicks into place then tighten it down. One star deducted because the straps could be a little better. They’re not uncomfortable and I don’t notice them at all, but when you’re putting it on it takes a second to make sure they’re not twisted which seems like it would have been easy enough to engineer against

    6 Things to know….
Camelback Mule 3L Hydration Pack:A quick look at this mid sized pack shows that thought was put into the design and manufacturing. It is the small details that show the quality.1) The pictured clips only insert one way so the strap does not twist or bind.2) Each strap has a catch on the end so the strap does not pull through the buckle.3) There are 6 zippers on the pack. One is color coded blue indicating the pouch for the bladder. So you know not to open that when accessing the other 2 storage areas which has dual zippers. Again, letting you know it is a storage area. The final single zipper is a pocket on the top that is lined with soft fabric for delicate items; cell or sunglasses etc.4) Padding on the back to hold it off the spine and webbing to allow air flow. Very nice touch.5) Chest strap has magnetic locking catch that doubles as magnetic for straw. The entire strap is adjustable by sliding up and down for individual comfort. Clean simple design.Negative; I think that with such a nice pack the shoulder straps could be more hardy. Time will tell if this is the weak spot.

    Great backpack
I bought this for mountain biking and it’s been the perfect size that I also use it in the winter for snowboarding. The only thing I changed was a water hose with a cover mainly for the winter because the water in the line will freeze going down the mountain if it’s cold enough. Going on year 5 and it’s still in great shape.

This is well worth the money. On top of it having a msssive 3litre water pouch it has loads of other pockets. I’ve used it with and without the water pouch and for cycle commuting its great, stays put on your back due to the chest and waist clips.

Backpack came a week early which was a plus. The negative was that it had this cut on the side that doesn’t look like it should be there. Sent back for a refund.
