Great Product
The Camel Bak Hydration Pack 100 oz. Mil Spec Crux Reservior works great with enough extra room for items for a long day hike or hunt. Mine came late but that wasn’t a big deal. It was shipped during the global internet disruptions of July 2024. However the bite tube did leak. I noticed this a few days after it was delivered. Camel Bak has a, got your back lifetime warranty. So I called them no answer. Emailed them and they responded but about 2 weeks later. In the meantime I submitted their warranty claim form. I don’t know why I didn’t use it first. In about 3 days I received an email stating that my isuue was resolved but not saying how. A few days later I received another email saying my item was shipped. Within 2 weeks I not only had a new bite tube but an entire insulated tube system which of course includes the bite tube. Lesson learned, if you have any issues with the Camel Bak, use their warranty claim form. A great product and company that I highly recommend.

Nice small pack/hydration pack,
I purchased this for day hikes and camping, of course the bladder alone is almost worth it but it also has PLANTY of pack space for pretty much anything you would use during a day trip. A tablet, power bank, small solar panel, lunch stc. . It’s also very comfortable and light to wear – I’ve worn it between four and eight hours on several occasions and I’d almost forget I had it on. Not to mention it’s very easy to get the bladder in and out to clean and fill/empty it. Camelbak is one of the more expensive brands, but to me it’s worth it because I’ll get my monies worth out it.

Awesome pack
I use as a day pack, sometimes don’t bring the water pending on what I’m doing. The bladder is VERY well made, almost feel like a thin rubber vs cheap plastic. The pack itself fits and feels great on the back. Has plenty of storage for longer trips and is small enough for simple day trips or being used as a day bag.

I returned it, but itâs still a great pack
I am a huge Camelbak fan, and I own a HAWG, Sparta and BFM. I had never seen a MULE and thought I might have sone use for it, so I figured Iâd order it and try it out. I knew it was going to be minimal and tiny, but damn is it really small and light. It is the quality youâd expect from camelbak and has solid organization, but for my use I feel the HAWG is a better small pack. It can be compressed to almost the size of a MULE, and can grow when the extra space is needed. I think unless you know you really only want something small for say running and quick bike rides, the HAWG would be a much better choice.

Almost good enough for laptop
This product is just an inch too small to comfortably store a MacBook Pro 15″ (2017 model in my case). A 13 inch MacBook M2 fits just fine however.

I ordered this item so that I could both stay cool myself and carry water for my dogs when we go on hikes. The size has been excellent for this – the lower pocket is subdivided to carry individual items, and fits two 12oz Yeti Rambler bottles easily. The top pocket is not subdivided, and is the perfect size for a 6-8 inch folding dog bowl. The bladder stays nice and cool inside the bag, and with the clever central rib, it stays slim and sloshing around is minimised.Unlike many of the Camelback models, the drinking tube is insulated with a black neoprene sleeve – This helps to prevent water in the tube from coming up to ambient temperature. This bag also has multiple routes available for the drinking tube to be routed outside. It comes with the tube threaded to leave through the top of the bag, which will make sense to most people, but there are also exist slits low on each side of the bag, so that the tube can be routed up from the waist rather than over the shoulder. Depending on the wearer’s intended activities, this could be very helpful – presumably the design is to prevent a shouldered rifle from cutting off the flow of water. The Camelback magnetic tube holder will fit onto the side straps or the horizontal chest or waist straps if needed. My only gripe with this model is that the backpack straps do not have much padding, and are very stiff to begin with. They soften up over the course of a week or so, and become very comfortable, but until then it would be very easy to be put off on first examination.Overall, I’d definitely recommend. This setup has some big advantages over the standard ‘MULE’ pack, and does exactly what it says.

The 3L hydration pack is great for long runs. I love the amount of storage in this thing. I can pack 3L, plus 4 500 ml bottles of water in it. Itâs fantastic. Highly recommend.
