Sturdy and great value
Can never be too sure when and what you’ll need. Better just to have a little of this and a little of that. This kit has it all. Everything you need in an emergency situation. (For the most part) I used most of this for a “go-bag”

Really glad I chose this one. Well worth it.
This is a very sturdy and comprehensive set of tools for camping, emergencies, etc. I will keep it in the car. After rechecking the set, one issue is the screwdriver bits are not long enough, such that when you insert them in the magnetized holder, they barely stick out. The two sided one doesn’t seat well inside the holder and is wobbly. A solution is to add a set of bit holders in various lengths. I bought this simply to toss in my truck for winter driving emergencytype stuff but was actually surprised at the durability of this product. I never expected it to be as tough as it is. I didn’t expect it to be as thick walled as it is. I guess I was imagining something more like the barrel of a mag light in regards to thickness of the aluminum but it’s much thicker. I love that the handles are hollow and are water tight. This allows for storage of things much like the “Rambo survival knife” from back in my day. On that same line, as far as usage goes, the handles attached to the hatchet would work as a fishing pole, a small feature not mentioned in the manufacture description. It seems to be well fitted, no issues with the threading and ease of putting it together. The case isn’t flimsy and the pieces stay in place. For small digging around a camp site, like fire pit or even cleaning out an existing one, cutting kindling and small wood supplies, thjs is the thing to have with you. If you are the type to go hiking with just what you can carry then this is one thing you need to have. Well worth the money and as far as I can see so far, it delivers on its promises. One and only thing I see, so far, I’d say is that the fire starter takes several attempts to get the paint off to get to the spark. This kind of speaks to the durability of the paint , though. But the spark is a strong one.

every piece is solid, was figuring it would be a more basic kit. Knives and Axe are strong and sharp. Great kit for van all around, only issue is the case is a standard hinged plastic, it clearly wont last lots of use, but for the price there had to be some weak spot.
