It’s a lot bigger than the picture, definitely see a lot with a wide view. Glass is clear and clean out of the box. Doesn’t look too bad even from the outside. Cleaned the window glass thoroughly before installing and suction cup has held up well. I did find the first few days getting in the car in the morning the mirror droops down. Tightening the hinge pinch screw every time until it stopped doing it. It’s been solid now for the last 4 days.

An Unexpectedly Different Experience
This is still growing on me. Itâs not just a larger mirror.It makes objects appear much farther away than a standard car mirror and it doesnât have the usual wedge glass design normal to interior rearview mirrors. Thatâs the clever solution allowing you to tilt a mirror up at night to reduce the amount of light reflecting into your eyes. Both these differences will require changes in how you drive and estimate distances.This thing is solid and canât be accidentally knocked off. While it does take two hands to put on, it only requires one to take off. Thatâs a big plus while getting used to it. Just push down on this mirror until the bottom clips clear your built-in mirror, tilt the clips out and away, then raise the device. It only takes a second or two. Iâve felt the need to remove it a few times when I had difficultly gaging distances⦠especially at night. Itâs nice to be able to do that in one fluid motion while driving. But the more I used it, the safer and more confident I feel with it. Regular rearview mirrors make objects appear farther away too. Itâs just that the effect is much more pronounced with this mirror. You will need to pay closer attention to actual distances until this discrepancy becomes second nature like it did with your old mirror. Iâm 6â5â and I rarely have need to tilt my mirror at night to avoid glare so I have yet to miss that feature.I suspect Iâll end up loving this eventually but itâs a process.Update: After a few weeks, the larger mirror is a luxury Iâll never go without. Itâs all become second nature. The improved visibility is worth the adjustment.

Not for hot days
Was reasonably satisfied for the price… at first. Installing was easy and the range of visibility was impressive.First issue I noticed was the mirror, over the period of usage in a day, would sink. So I’d have to loosen the screw, readjust the mirror, then re-tighten… every single time I got into the car. It still worked so I wasn’t planning on replacing anytime soon.Where I live it gets very hot and has been 90-100 degrees Fahrenheit for several days now. I was worried about the mirror coming off from the heat of the window but instead what I didn’t see coming was the mirror completely splitting in half. Now I need to figure out how to get this thing unstuck from my window so I can find a new mirror. A bit disappointing.
