Customers say
Customers find the pulse oximeter generates thorough reports and is easy to set parameters for alarms. The device’s functionality and ease of use receive mixed feedback – while some say it works great and is easy to use, others report it stops working after 4 months and find the interface clunky. The accuracy and value for money also get mixed reviews, with some finding it extremely accurate and worth the price, while others report inaccurate readings and consider it not worth the money. The alarm volume receives mixed feedback, with some noting it can be quite loud while others find it too quiet.

Continuous monitoring all night – easy to set alarm level
Purchased about two years ago. I have sleep apnea (and apparently apnea induced AFib) and use the device periodically to check oxygen level fluctuations throughout the night. I generally set my alarm level at 85% and download the data the next morning to my laptop (reviewers have complained about the software download but there seems to have been an upgrade on the software because I didnât get non-stop virus warnings with the download when I installed it on my new laptop). The instructions are not very clear (the typical language issues we have all come to expect with products manufactured in some countries) so the software requires some trial and error to generate the report. It does generate a very thorough report and my pulmonologist and general practice Doc were both complimentary. One of those reports recently triggered another sleep study and ultimately resulted in an increase in my CPAP pressure. I canât comment on accuracy because I have no way to calibrate the device and I donât want to trust a $10, shirt pocket model to validate accuracy on the CMI device. As I recall, there are a number of reviews on Amazon by medical professionals that attest to the deviceâs accuracy (I read a lot of reviews before I pulled the trigger on this $180 or so purchase!). My spouse is an RN and she has also been pleased with the purchase as well and she now uses it occasionally. In fact, her physician looked at one of her recent reports and has ordered a sleep study for her. No regrets about the purchase whatsoever!

Satisfied
Easy to use right out of box. Good charge life, easy to recharge. Great for longer use, while walking around. I have severe lung disease, on oxygen so need to monitor O2 levels occasionally. I have not set up option for storing data on computer. So no review on that. It does seem accurate compared to other devices ( hospital) . I keep on silence so that it only beeps when too high or too low. Definitely better than cheaper smaller finger units. This one can be used continuously whether walking or sleeping .

Mute on startup should be an option.
I purchased this device primarily for its alarm function. I appreciate that it beeps when the sensor is removed or the readings go outside of the range I set. However, whenever I turn it on, it starts beeping the pulse rate. Additionally, if the sensor falls off and the alarm sounds when I reattach it, it starts beeping the pulse rate again. It would be beneficial to have an option to disable the pulse rate beeps. My intention is for the alarm to only beep when thereâs an issue, rather than requiring me to constantly press the mute button.

Very useful
Gives a pretty accurate reading of the oxygen saturation and pulse rate. Battery like is like 6 hours then need to plug in to charge. Worth the money if you need it for a love one.

Works great. Good to have for anyone using a CPAP or wondering if they really need a CPAP..
I discovered my CPAP doesn’t work well when placed on the floor by my bed. My oxygen level was dropping too low even though I was using the CPAP. I placed my CPAP higher on a night stand and now my readings are very good. The PC software is for Windows and not documented well, but I eventually figured it out. The profusion index was new to me. It can vary from person to person and from finger to finger on the same person. Use the fingers with the highest profusion index for connecting the sensor.

PC software does NOT work with Windows 11
Four days of going back and forth with customer service and I had to return this item because the software download does NOT work with Windows 11 as stated in the description. I even ran it in Windows 7 and Windows 8 compatibility modes and it does not work. I can create the patient files but the tables crash when archiving the data to the patient file or the data does not transfer at all. There is no way to show doctors trends with software that won’t work properly. I have ordered a device from another company that will arrive tomorrow and this product is going directly into that packaging to return to CMI. The device itself works great but I am so disappointed with the software and the lack of understanding about the problem when communicating with customer service.
