Nice and thick
This is the best yoga mat I’ve got. I bought this when I took a yoga class during one semester at college and it was worth it. I previously had one of those thin ones and it would feel like I was directly on the floor. This one is thick enough to cushion you and not hurt you as you’re doing your poses.

Yarp:-The thickness over my previous mat (which looks to be only 2-3mm) is a huge improvement. My bony joints need the gap from the concrete floors I sometimes practice on.-The thickness isn’t like a 1/4″ foam rubber mat. This one is firm and comfortable without being squishy, important for those Warrior 3, Eagle, and other balancing poses.-The grip is very good, not quite like a recycled rubber surface but markedly better than those beaded PVC mats. My old [PVC] mat would start slipping once the sweat began drizzling, and this new one has yet to.Narp:-Not cat claw resistant; until a steel-belted vulcanized rubber version is released, none probably are

Great yoga mat for the price. I have been using it for Hot Pilates and it does not slip on the bottom at all. Highly recommend if you are looking for something quality and cheap!

Donât bother if you do yoga (lol)
The thickness is perfect for knees that need it and thin enough to hold a good balancing pose. The color is beautiful and bright (I got the tealâ¦full of foot and hand stains from someone who obviously returned it) but the mat stains. There is no wiping off of anything.This mat is extremely slippery- no grip at all. It looks like the great mats that provide all of the necessities for a yogi but falls extremely short in the grip. Since the top is âwater proofâ as it mentioned in the description when I purchased it, it seems to mean âeverything will bead up and make you slip up and stain into the surface so that you look like a nasty dirty hippie who doesnât clean their body even when you thought you were doing a wonderful job your whole life.â LoLIâm all seriousness- a tip from a yoga instructor: donât buy this thing even on a good sale. Itâs an accident waiting to happen.

Soft and thick
I really like how thick and soft this mat was. It was long enough for me when I tried a yoga class and rolls up quick and the strap makes it easy to carry. I have only used it a handful of times but I like it!

Love the color, but surface too slick
The color is beautiful, and the little sparkles in it are lovely. It is soft to the touch, but does show scratches. However, my hands kept slipping when in certain poses and I thought it was me until I tried a rubber mat and it was like night and day. I wanted to love this, but alas I don’t use it anymore now that I purchased a Jade mat.

Works well for my Yoga, Pilates, and exercise classes
This is the first yoga mat I’ve purchased as I am new to Yoga and Pilates. I don’t do hot yoga and haven’t sweat on it (yet), so I can’t speak about that aspect of the mat. The purple color is pretty and the top of the mat has a nice texture on it. It didn’t emit any smell when I first opened it. The mat is a nice size and is comfortable to use. The included shoulder strap is a nice feature for toting it around to classes. Can’t think of anything I don’t like about it, so I will highly recommend. 🙂
