I’ve used them before when I was sick.
I love these bacteria’s. There is more than one bacteria strand in them which it is how it should be for any Probiotic you buy. A lot of times you can buy probiotics that has just one strand of bacteria and there is a lot of them in it. Not so with these. This is good because your body will actually think of them as an enemy and start to kill off the bacteria when you take to much of the same strand. You might have heard of the saying too much of a good thing can be bad. Well in this case it is. Your body’s immune system will see them and start to fight back. You might even get sick from taking probiotics that puts in a insanely amount of the bacteria in their capsules. With Dr. Ohhira’s probiotics it’s opposite of that. It heals your gut where 70-80% of your immune system is in your body. They only put in the common amount your body needs.He actually puts in a preprobiotics. This is food for the good bacteria so they can stay alive in the capsules and you won’t have to put it in a fridge or freezer. It also helps them produce in your gut to keep a healthy balance in your immune system.Now I recommend if you have a stable income to take it every day to prevent you from getting sick, like getting the flu or the cold. I don’t have a stable income so I can’t do that. So I love to keep some around when I do get sick and take them then or when I feel under the weather.A few years ago, when my mom brought home from work the flu, I used this and it worked wonderfully. She was lucky and only had the flu for 24 hours. Not so with my dad and I. The day she brought it home from an over night job I got it too. I knew I would get it so I started to take the probiotics before the symptoms came, so really early on. One at noon and one at night before bed. My dad was getting sick like normal, mom went back to work as if nothing happened. I would only feel sick to my stomach time to time, especially when I had milk (cereal). So after a while I thought I didn’t catch it so I stopped taking them. That’s when the symptoms started to get worse. Hot/cold at the same time, body aches, tiredness, then got really nauseated. I didn’t wait till I threw up before I started to take them again. The only symptom that I really had to tell me I had the flu was when I drank the milk. The virus was so weak that the normal symptoms didn’t really show up at all. I could eat normal foods when I was taking them, just not dairy products. My dad got over the flu in a week but was in the bathroom many times. I on the other hand had it for over a week, maybe 2 weeks, but I never threw up and I could do my daily activities.You can also bite open a capsule and swallow the contents when you have heartburn. They (the company) says it works well in need. I never needed them for this reason but I have bitten them open before. It doesn’t taste great but it doesn’t taste bad. Some people may like the taste and some won’t, but most of the time it will be palatable, because it doesn’t have a strong taste to it. I’m sure for some, because there always are some, will be sensitive to the taste and won’t be able to swallow it this way. Honestly I think it tastes good as long as I don’t have to keep on eating them more than a few in one moment. The after taste is weak so just drink water to wash them down if you have to. If I had to keep eating them this way I could easily get use to it and like them even more.

Please don’t get me wrong, there are many other products that are extremely beneficial but this is the MASTER KEY! I suffer from Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria/Angioedema/Anaphylaxis and when I say ‘suffer’ I MEAN ‘SUFFER’. I’ve been seen since 2010 by an immunologist, diabetologist, various GP’s who’ve all scratched their heads and the result has been – dial 999 when I feel I’m in danger, IV steroids and IV antihistamines, come home and stay on oral steroids for a month, plus LARGE doses of various antihistamines – none of this has CURED the problem, and none of it has actually ALLEVIATED the problem for more than a week or so, before I’m covered in HIVES yet again. I’ve had a miserable 4 years with this condition and it most certainly is NOT the trivial condition that some doctors make it out to be. It’s not a ‘popular’ condition so it doesn’t attract funding for research but ANYONE who suffers with it will tell you it’s LIFE CHANGING and not for the better. Someone recommended these on a f/b support site, she’d had CIU for 15 years and is now hive free. I sent for them, they took a while to arrive, but they’re worth the wait. I’m almost hive free and I’ve only been taking half dose for about a month. I’ve always felt that this condition is something to do with the lining of the stomach and bowel, as I developed GERD and chronic gastritis prior to the hives. Whole my life I have suffered from a bad digestion. Recently I learnt about the powerful microbiome in our bodies and I also understood that my poor digestion is associated with history of cesarian birth. I was always using probiotics from our local pharmacy shop although I didn’t note any improvements. Recently I got in my hand an excellent book from Nan Kathryn Fuchs “456 Most Powerful Healing Secrets” which I strongly recommend to anybody interesting in natural healing. From her I learnt about dr Ohhira and since then my life is quite different. Both my daughter and I have been using dr Ohhira probiotics for 4 months now and I just received a second batch of this wonderful probiotics.

It settled my digestive issues quite quickly and I am happy to continue to use it.I have knocked one star off not because of the product, but because the price has increased from £45.99 when ordered in Oct ’19 to £65!! What a joke!! Trying to get some answers from Amazon at the moment but it seems their response is simply that it’s sold by different suppliers. No help, especially as I intended to buy this regularly. I’m asking them to consider restocking this item via Prime as before with its original price. Although already expensive, it is worth it for anyone suffering from digestive problems. Definitely worth the investment, but I cannot justify such an enormous price increase.Have decided to order from synergy health.
