Great Piece of Equipment for Caregiving
Nice transfer bench to assist my wife with bathing. She just had a full knee replacement and couldn’t really stand on her own in the shower yet, so this unit fit great in our jet tub.It is adjustable for the height and fit well over our tub which is 18″ high from the floor of the bathroom. The bench seems very well built and does not require any tolls to assemble. It can also be faced forward or to the rear of the bathing area.Very well built and a good value @ $60.The bench is very high quality in my opinion and we will pack it up when we’re done with it for any future need.I highly recommend this transfer bench.

    Great product
Very easy to put together everything comes in the package. Fast shipping. Great to use for lots of people who need the assistance or cannot physically stand in a shower or tub. We use this in a tub , no messes made. We used this to replace one just like it so pretty much use to it. Very convenient to be able to find the same brand product online for a decent price instead of dealing with DME and the rules of insurance. These personally should not be used more than 2 years they need to be replaced after that. That’s when we finally replaced ours. It’s sturdy and holds well but of course over time it will get worn down and for safety I rather have a new product with something I can trust. No issues and don’t plan on having any.

Sturdy and Practical with a Couple of Modifications
This bench, rather than a chair, is safer and more practical for people, like myself, who are recovering from a leg injury/surgery resulting in a leg in a brace or a cast. Having a seat on the outside of the tub allows the user to position the bench so that the braced leg has enough room to rotate over the tub wall into the tub safely. Once the braced leg is in the tub, it is easy to slide onto the middle part of the bench using your good leg. You will need to cut the shower liner in 2 places allowing this portion to slide into the space in-between the first and the second seat. This will prevent, if you are careful with a handheld shower head, water from spilling out of the tub due to the spray of water. I did not have any spillage but I also have a person monitoring the curtain while I am in the tub. Also be aware, it is a bit challenging to clean everywhere if you are not able to lift your torso off the seat a bit as the holes in the bench do not allow a great deal of irrigation. Overall I am very happy with this product .

I recommend this for any assistive bathing with classic old bath tub.
My Dad is very old & this transfer bench just made bathing him much more safer & gave my dad more dignity during the process. Took me ten minutes to assemble, most of that time was finding some pliers to remove the white plastic plugs on the tube ends. Using this assistive bench has made bath time so much safer for my Dad. Great product, very sturdy & well made!

    No Major Complaints
Seems to be sturdy but may be questionable for over 250 lbs. or so. Easy to assemble if you remove the 4 black plugs and can find A and B. I wish it could fit closer to to the wall, but it’s not a deal-breaker.

    A Shower Necessity
I don’t know how I would be able to shower following foot surgery if it wasn’t for this bench. I’m easily able to transfer from my wheelchair to the bench. Very sturdy and I’ve never been in fear of it failing or moving on me. Amazing value for the money.

When you need one of these in a hurry you’re greatful for fast as hopping! Instructions were not great but it’s not a difficult product to assemble with common sense and a picture of the finished product from the components provided. In use it is SLIGHTLY wobbly, but they all are,we have used several different types and quality is all about the same. Look for big stable feet and legs that splay slightly outwards for greater stability than those with legs that are straight vertical. This bench works on its tallest settings for our old 1980’s bathtub surround with sliding glass shower doors without having to remove the doors or damage the tub. Post surgery and unstable on her feet this allowed my mother to stay in her own home and still be able to shower safely without costly and untimely home renovations. Post surgery she is unable to raise her arms and is receiving aid from a medical personal support worker. This bench was recommended by her PSW and even though she may only need it for a couple of months it is well with the cost. It’s a good quality for the price and is sturdy enough in use to be considered safe and practical. Mum can lift this herself and install into the tub by pivoting on the two outside legs to carry the weight. She’s in her 80’s and just had surgery and can manage this just three weeks later. So yes I endorse this shower bench product.Money well spent when it was very tight and we needed it immediately.👍👍

I bought this for my son who has a broken ankle and a cast up to his knee. We have a bathtub shower and I was worried about him stepping over the rim of the tub to get to the shower chair. This chair is great because the bit that stays out of the shower makes getting in & out much easier than having to step over the rim of the tub. It is a more expensive thank the standard shower chairs, but for safety and stability getting in & out over the bathtub rim, this is hands down the best shower chair. Added bonuses, it was very easy to assemble, the suction is very strong, the design of it makes it much more flexible in terms of bathtub sizing (with two feet out of the tub, the feet in the tub can go anywhere, you’re not limited to the width of your tub) and delivery was super quick. I am very pleased with this purchase.
