Reliable and Accurate, But Requires Manual Input

Decent thermometer, easy to follow instructions
It’s a lightweight plastic thermometer and it’s easy to handle. I use a small microfiber cloth and a little bit of rubbing alcohol to sanitize it for the next use. It’s easy to read because of the blue light, though that only stays on for a little while. Since I use this at a low light time of the morning, I need to have a lamp on to see the numbers without the blue light.Overall I’ve had good results with this thermometer. It generally does what it’s supposed to. I only had a handful of issues with it so far and I’m not sure if it was because of how long I pressed the button or what. One time I thought the battery had gone out because it hadn’t stayed on to take my temp but when I troubleshooted it later in the same day, it was working again. I docked one star for the concerning factor that sometimes the thermometer hasn’t consistently worked. It was like it shut off after letting me view the last temp rather than getting the command to take a new temp. And because the light turned off during that time and the lights in my room were out, I didn’t notice anything was amiss until 3-4 minutes later when I didn’t hear the telltale beep and my internal clock was telling me it had been too long. Oh well.Sometimes I wonder if I should’ve gotten a different model of thermometer that would pair automatically with an app on my phone, but for the price, I’m satisfied with this one. I would rather do the extra step of manually entering the temp myself than pay the extra amount for a fancier model, even if my lazy side sometimes complains. I do appreciate that they include a spare battery in the box with this one, which helps me feel like I won’t be caught completely off guard once this battery finally goes out.

Effective and Worth it
Effective! I’ve been tracking my BBT for a year and this has been really great for confirming ovulation and then telling me when I’m about to get my period. It does take a minute to read but that’s because it’s more accurate. I haven’t had any issues with it and have traveled, left it places, and otherwise been fairly rough on it, and it’s still working great!

Efter att ha tempat med Natural Cycles i drygt ett halvår, så sökte jag efter en termometer som mätte en längre stund, då jag upplevde att mina temperaturskillnader var så extrema.Efter att ha tempat en cykel med den här termometern så är jag mer än nöjd! Min tempkurva är jämn och fin! Den mäter ganska länge (vilket jag tror är det som gör den mer jämn än andra termometrar), den piper inte lika högt som andra termometrar, och den har bakgrundsbelysning vilket gör att du slipper tända lampan för att läsa av tempen. Du kan även lägga den åt sidan för att läsa av tempen senare, genom att bara starta den igen.Prisvärd!

Esistono tanti termometri sul mercato, quelli considerati basali possono non solo misurare la temperatura corporea ( Febbre ), ma anche il ciclo di ovulazione per cui la donna è fertile. È il caso di quello che ho acquistato io, fornito di un comodo display che garantisce un’immediata lettura della temperatura. Inoltre è dotato di uno schermo retroilluminato ( Blu ) che garantisce sempre la massima visibilità anche al buio. Grazie alla funzione memoria si possono memorizzare le misurazioni ( 30 ) in modo da poter rivedere le varie temperature misurate oppure rivederle comododamente dal proprio smartphone inserendole manualmente ( Il dispositivo non dispone di connessione Bluetooth).CONTENUTO CONFEZIONE:- 1 Termometro Basale con display LCD Retroilluminato con Cappuccio Protettivo in PVC per preservarne la cura;- 1 Batteria di scorta CR1632;- Manuale di Istruzioni ( Anche in Italiano );- Garanzia;- Card Istruzioni Installazione App “Premom”.L’uso è estremamente facile e ci mette veramente poco per la misurazione della febbre ( 90 secondi); inoltre sentiremo un doppio bip che ci indicherà di estrarlo una volta effettuata la misurazione. Anche all’accensione emette un segnale acustico. Inoltre tenendo premuto il pulsante di accensione per 30 secondi si può cambiare l’unità di misura da °C a °F. Faccio notare che è resistente all’ acqua e la punta è flessibile per evitare di danneggiarlo. L’app per smartphone consente di inserire manualmente i valori, che poi genererà dei grafici sul nostro stato febbrile. Bisogna registrarsi prima di utilizzare l’App, con un nome utente e password. Lo consiglio vivamente perché di facile utilizzo, solo manca la connessione bluetooth, ma si può anche evitare.

I swapped over from a “normal” thermometer to this one and was very pleasantly surprised with it. The minute accuracy of the thermometer made charting my ovulation much easier, and reassured me when I became pregnant. Highly recommended! The only negative is the loud beeping after the temperature is taken. It is loud enough to wake others who are asleep in the room.
