It is a little tricky to figure out, i thought it didn’t work at first, after some trouble shooting and charging over night I got it to turn on. Once on it seemed to work decent and do what it’s intended to do, I did like the compact size and and accessories, I only gave 4 stars because how tricky it was to figure out!

Quality water out of a compact, portable, electric filtration pump device
I am shocked at how good this really is. It’s PERFECT For camping where you only have access to stream water or a pond or lake. It filters the water very decently for what it is and even makes it drinkable. The battery lasted for quite a while on a single charge and it’s rechargeable!Can Definitely Recommend for Camping out!

Great Piece of Kit for Your Bugout Bag (or just hiking)
This is a really cool piece of kit for your bugout bag or outdoor adventures.This water filter is from ARC a Texas based company, though this item is manufactured in China (as most things are these days).That said it is of a good quality and seems like it will hold up over time, within the limits of its design. The body is a sturdy plastic, but it is still plastic so I wouldn’t give it the drop test too often as chances are it will crack or break eventually.The kit comes with everything you need to get filtering, the unit, tubing, pre-filter replacements (and tweezers to pull them out and replace them), USB charger, a weight to hold the tube in the water, a storage bag for the unit, and 2 water storage bags. It really is a complete kit.At .01 microns the filter will work well on most natural non saltwater bodies of water removing bacteria, debris, and parasites. I tried it on tap water, and I felt it made the water taste better. I plan on taking it on my next camping trip and giving it a true test in the wild.The only negative things I will point out is as expected the compass is nothing to write home about. It is true and points north, so it will get you going in the right direction just don’t expect it to allow you to do complex accurate land navigation. The other negative is the LED light on the top is weak it is not a light you would use as a primary source, but it will help you find the unit in the dark if it is turned on.A final note – make sure to read the directions and happy filtering. My overall rating for this product is 4.5 stars.

This unit came dead on arrival and the main body of it is very cheaply made. It’s hollow plastic with a little tiny battery haphazardly soldered into place with some very thin wires.I don’t doubt that the filter works or that the unit itself works for most people (hence the other reviews), but I’d find it very hard to believe that this unit would last more than a few uses.

The size of this filter is perfect, it doesnt take up much space in a backpack or tote for all your outdoor adventures. Is fairly easy to put together once you use ot a few times.
